Most horses were pitch black but the biggest one was a light brown one with a thick, dark brown mane and tail. Adrian stood next to it and I gave the horse strokes on his nose while Adrian talked to one of his officers. I kept my gaze away from him.

I broke the silence, looking away from the weird horses. "No, I asked him to stay and help my mother." Alexander said. He turned and walked to the door, stepping inside the carriage. I followed and Silas got in behind me, Sei and Daffodil coming in last.

"You're an Omega, lady Annalisa. You can't die from falling off a horse. I'm ninety nine percent sure." I gave the horses a thorough look. One of them was white and the other was black with an insignia of Trinigad — it was a royal horse, similar to the one Amelia and Rhea rode in the riding hall. I imagined myself riding on one of the horses and it didn't sit well with me. Tons of time I'd watched Amelia and Rhea ride on their horse, and as much as they seemed to enjoy equestrian pursuits, I couldn't imagine myself enjoying it.

A massive, pitch-black Frisian horse appeared. Its mane shimmered like liquid midnight, and on its forehead glimmered a rainbow crystal horn. A unicorn.
