The Alpha's Hidden Debts

The Alpha's Hidden Debts

he said, "a bloodline emerged that wasn't fully wolf and wasn't fully human. Hybrids, for lack of a better word, though that's not what the old texts call them. They didn't appear from nowhere. The histories aren't entirely clear on how it started, only that it did, and that within a generation there were enough of them that pure-blood packs noticed." "Noticed how?" "Their blood did something to wolves. Something the old texts couldn't fully categorize, even with everything else they understood about pack instincts and dominance hierarchies." He paused, choosing the next part carefully. "It triggered protection instinct and dominance instinct at the same time. Both, simultaneously, in a way

I swallowed, "you're my last resort coz you have information that I don't. I honestly don't know what to do. Please help clarify somethings to me." 'you have a minute before they realize you called.' "there has been Wolf attacks here.. I don't know if it's them... But I had a connection with one.. Strangely the same connection I have with a girl.. She's human... I don't know what this means. Can one person have two mates?" 'if there has been wolf attacks why are you still even there?' I swallowed, shit! I should have known he will ask this. "because they happened before I got here. So they had nothing to do with me."

Deceived Souls of the Past

Deceived Souls of the Past

I go back to bed, open my notebook and start to write. I write about supernatural creatures, like werewolves, vampires, dragons, and witches. Some days earlier I had a vision or something like that and started to write about this Alpha werewolf who also happens to be a vampire. A hybrid in the mids of war, betrayal, and heartbreak. A story where he finds his mate and a misunderstanding rips her from his side. Wonder what the cards of fate hold in his favor…

The Alpha Prince's Purchased Maid

I repeated her words questioningly. “That’s right. After all, wolves mate very differently from humans. A human-wolf hybrid, a specie that is commonly referred to as werewolves, has mating and sexual desires that is also a hybrid between that of a human and a beast. It is truly intriguing and complex. Of course, just like the human sex drive, the sexual need, desire, and preference of each wolf is different,” the madame explained matter-of-factly. “What are honorable maidens supposed to do exactly?” I asked the question that had been plaguing my mind.

My Seductress Fated Mate

My Seductress Fated Mate

I never see or meet a Hybrid since I was a child so I don’t really know but I think they are a bit new and it’s hard to think it its happened. “I think Hybrid is a miracle that happened because they love each other… I’d never met one Hybrid since I was a child but I think they are amazingly cool, being half-wolf is strange but new.” I tilted my head, I am not sure if my answer if it was right or it was the thing he wanted to hear. I answer with my heart and belief. “Then that is good to hear and you are wrong,” Alpha Ray sighed heavily, “you already met one of them, and it is your mate.”

The Omegas Cry

The Omegas Cry

Whoever did this would regret it. Shadows moved among the trees, eyes glowing with malice. Wolves. Their hackles raised, teeth bared, they surrounded me in a perfect circle. Their intent was clear—they had been waiting for me. I flexed my hands, letting the change ripple through me. My hybrid nature surged forward, a blend of wolf and something darker, more lethal. “Cowards,” I spat, stepping into the moonlight. “Face me.” The first wolf lunged, and I sidestepped easily, slamming my fist into its ribs. A second followed, its claws raking the air where my face had been a moment before. I spun, grabbing it by the throat and tossing it into a tree with a sickening crack.

SHADOWBORN: The Rise Of The Dragon Wolf

SHADOWBORN: The Rise Of The Dragon Wolf

One wolf went down smoking and the other retreated through the broken window with its tail literally between its legs, and I heard more crashing from downstairs that pulled me toward the stairs. The living room was chaos when I reached it, furniture overturned and three massive wolves circling Alex's terrified family while his mother clutched a kitchen knife that would be useless against supernatural threats. Alex was already there and fighting two wolves at once while his brothers tried to shield their mother with their bodies in a display of human courage that made my chest ache, and I didn't hesitate before launching myself at the wolf closest to them. My claws caught it across the ribs a

as he quickly stepped back raising his hands in defense. “I didn't get to change you myself, although I wanted to but I had the pack nurse do it I promise.” “What did you mean by you have warriors chasing after them?” Zayn exhaled, running a hand through his hair. “This might be hard to understand for now, but… I am a wolf, the alpha of the Shadowcrest pack and you my dear are my fated mate. I have waited my whole life for you.” He paused, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of understanding.

he thundered again. My body began to tremble, bones shifting, skin rippling. I wasn’t in control. Within seconds, my wolf had taken over. She didn’t hesitate. With a snarl, she leapt forward and landed on the Alpha’s lifeless chest. Her claws dug into his ribcage, and with a grotesque crack, she tore into him. Heat pulsed beneath the bones. The Heartstone glowed with an eerie, red ancient light. She clamped her jaws around it and ripped it free.

The Wolf’s Fate

Was this done on purpose so I could be with Zaire here? “Here,” she said, pulling me out of my thoughts. “It says that the great black wolf called Amoux is the most powerful wolf in the Black Moon Pack. He was not born, but cursed into a body.” she started reading, “cursed into a body. How does that happen? Aren’t wolves usually born with their humans?” “I don’t know, keep reading,” I replied, scooting to be closer to her.

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.

This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Totally hooked here — the novelist behind 'Alpha And The Hybrid' writes under the pen name Luna Harrow. I fell into this story like a rabbit hole: the prose feels serialized, the chapters breathe with cliffhangers, and it has the signature tone of someone who first built a following on serial platforms before moving toward self-publishing. From what I dug up and read, Luna Harrow originally serialized the novel online and later packaged it into e-book formats and print-on-demand editions once the readership had grown. That trajectory really shows in the pacing — it’s full of chapter hooks and character arcs that keep you turning pages.

It’s worth mentioning Luna’s strengths: she leans into emotional beats, folklore-tinged worldbuilding, and a hybrid-identity theme that resonates with people who like found-family vibes and slightly dark urban fantasy. If you love the slow-burn romance and the alpha/omega dynamics found in works like 'The Alpha’s Claim' or the emotional complexity of 'Shades of Magic', Luna’s handling of the protagonists feels familiar yet fresh. I’ve been recommending 'Alpha And The Hybrid' to friends who like character-first speculative romance, and most come back asking for the next book — that’s the kind of impact an author who knows her audience delivers. I’m still excited to see where Luna Harrow takes the series next, honestly.
