The Alpha's Abandoned Mate

The Alpha's Abandoned Mate

“Keep the line crooked. Kings hate untidy pictures.” General Kael rode with the easy grace of a man who had never been told no by a mirror. His horse was a gray gelding with a scar down the flank and manners better than his rider’s. Kael wore armor that had never seen a pageant, dull steel, practical buckles, no flourish, but over it he had thrown a cloak of wolf-fur dyed a tasteful night. On his head no crown, only a band of black leather set with a small iron sigil: a crescent cracked in two.

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

She trailed her fingertip over the raised skin in the shape of a sword that sat over my other scars on the left side of my chest. “That is the mark of the Queen’s Knights. There are four of us and we all bare that mark. It formed when our Queen bonded with her mate. We are her most trusted men and protectors of not just her but the kingdom and the people.” I smiled thinking of my fellow brothers.

Yes, an excellent read, full of intrigue and drama, love and torment. All four of this series have been worth waiting for. Just one complaint: where are the next two books on Goodbooks? Do I need to look elsewhere? I hate leaving a story mid way, and need to know how it all finishes.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Mathilda

Mathilda

The knight was obviously enjoying the affection, but he still managed to drew orders, he then said with authority, “Prepare your weapons, we will save the other girl, and punish the bandits.” “But sir…” A knight interjected, “We have to watch over the carriages.” “Leo and Francis will stay to guard them, and the three of you will come with me and the girl. We have a duty to protect other people, and we will do it without second guessing.” “Anyone who would defy my order are free to leave my squad.” He warned. The four knights started preparing their weapons. They have their own sword in their sheath, a crossbow on their back, and a few knives, even a doble edge one, hidden on their clothing.

Let's talk about the synopsis! LOVE IT! It is so spooky and mysterious like when you're like; "I swear I didn't steal your WiFi password! Or did I? *with a menacing smile*" I'm still going to leave another review for the chapters. I just felt like this awesome synopsis deserves a review of its own.

The narration itself brings you deep into the book. There's this something I can't point to exactly, but the way the author leads it, the more I just want to get drown into the story. Not just that, but this story contradicts the 'soft girl main protagonist' ad I LOVE IT! MATHILDA FOR THE WIN!

My Guardian Knights

My Guardian Knights

I sent a mindlink to Bradley and the triplets, asking if it was okay I divulged some of our secrets in order to help her understand that I didn’t WANT to reject her, that I felt the NEED to reject her so she could have someone who would only think of her first. With their approval, I asked “Cailee, have you heard of the Knights League?” seeing her eyes widen with shock and recognition. “I am a Guardian Knight; I vowed to protect Ellie with my life no matter what. I can’t fully be your mate and do that at the same time,” I said sadly, hating to hear the words coming out of my mouth as if they somehow made the hurt more real.

Hopeless Warriors

Hopeless Warriors

Belikov's back went rigid when he noticed what I had my sights on, only piquing my interest more. I pulled back the red, tattered cloth that was covering it and couldn't hold back my astonished gasp even if I tried. If the signature scaled armor wasn't enough on its own the blazing phoenix emblem on the front of the ornate shield was a dead giveaway. "You're...you're a," I stuttered, unable to believe my own eyes as I reached down to touch the glistening shield. My fingers lightly grazed across the sleek metal, the cool contact freezing my scattering thoughts into place. "These belong to Varangian Guard."

The Devil She Knows

The Devil She Knows

Except mine was conducted under the old pagan ways at the Knights' temple in Uppsala, Sweden. Although this hall is underground, the reverence is the same as at the temple and the same emblems bind them together. The main one being the Raventhorn Crest which is high above me on the center of the ceiling. It has two blue ravens on either side of a shield and the letter R engraved in the middle, along with a golden fleur-de-lis banding the ravens together.Around the crest are black carvings of the Elder Futhark runes, paired with their Greek counterparts: Alpha, Zeta, Sigma, and Omega. Those represent the four factions of the Knights. I, like my brothers, am a Sigma. They are tasked with the f

OMG I just finished it & I love love LOVE this story- kudos writer! - so many twists and turns, great characters, insane plot.. there's GOTTA be a 2nd book right? I'll be checking right now! The random Italian names for ppl who are supposed to be Viking or Russian was confusing tho so just ignore.

I finished the novel and I want to say how impressed I am. Very good writing, great plot, good editing. I must say in the beginning I didn't like the way Camille was doing all the dirty things Alessio asked her to do, I wanted her to be a bit more defiant (continuation in reply)

Taken (#2 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

Taken (#2 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

“The place is heavily guarded.” The guards were wearing silver armor like the ones he saw in the old movies. Each of them was holding a scythe. Well, this was the Knights of Death. “Look, they have the crest,” Liam pointed out. Cohen focused his eyes on one of the guards. His beta was proper. The guard was wearing the same crest. Wait, not just that one guard. All of the guards were wearing the crest. So, he wasn’t in the wrong place, after all.

Tsunami Man: Legend of the Kaiju

Tsunami Man: Legend of the Kaiju

The knight’s entire face was covered in green armored helmet, red x on a metallic plate covering its eyes, and reflective mouth guard hiding the rest of its face. " Come, we must leave,” Ardcore said as he led the crusaders to the staircase on the far right of the castle. “You will not interfere,” Palio said as she flew towards the knight. The knight then pulled out a green shield with the red x insignia on the middle and shielded itself from the enchantress’s blast. Meanwhile, the rebels rush up to the spiral tower within the castle. As Bonnie takes the lead, she uses her massive sickle to open the door at the top of the castle.

His Caged Princess

His Caged Princess

The mood was sombre, those who were talking spoke in hushed whispers, a few knights commanded lower ranked soldiers regarding the last check on the supplies, but Layana’s eyes did not see any of this, she only sought Declan. She bowed absently to the king and queen Myra, Terania and Zephyr and the other members of the council. It was then, she spotted him. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him standing next to a white stallion. He looked handsome in his dark silver armour, on his arm was the House Storm crest, a deep red background with a silver bolt of lightning on a black shield. Upon his black cloak was the Ehlesian kingdom crest, despite it being smaller than the average it was clear

Absolutely love this story! There are a few grammatical errors throughout but the story's so good that you hardly notice. I am really surprised it's not higher in the rankings, it has everything a great story needs. The world the world the author has created is amazing, the story made me laugh & cry

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

The blade stained with fresh, dark red blood, streaking unevenly along its length. A man approaches the kneeling knight, his heavy, predominantly back armour clinks as he approaches. The knight’s amber eyes roam upward from the rubble covered ground, noting the deep red accents in the dark knight’s armour and the dark chainmail underlayer visible under his neck. As soon as golden knight saw his face, he knew who he was, Mestre Escuro. Mestre had a stern, intense expression accompanied by his sharp, angular structured face, defined cheekbones and slightly furrowed brow. His skin was pale, contrasted by subtle shadows that deepened the contours of his face. His unnaturally red glowing eyes see
