The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

I The border with Kirdan, stretched as long as the eye could see, the ground trembled with their gallop. They rode without rest, for days, swift as a wind, for they must deliver a message to Albin. Important news await, which he alone must hear. Their armors were the same; hard to spot the difference between them, the heraldry, which hung on their right shoulder, was the same; a yellow turtle on a green field, the sigil of House Transin. The bull horn-helmed knight stopped for a moment, looked at the worn-down signpost. His dark green eyes looked at the names on the board. He mounted his steed, turned to the other direction and galloped, the others followed in toe.

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

There was also a shield, with a magnificent and ferocious griffin embossed on the face of the shield. The only other things in the trunk were the full chainmail armour, an elaborate waist belt, a leather pouch, a set of tubular bells and cloak with the coat of arms of the Zumerongs which was a magnificent and ferocious griffin, standing tall and proud, embroidered with threads of gold, silver and copper; the image was so life like and imposing that just a glance at the magnificent image commanded respect.

The Alpha Prince in his Mate Selection

The Alpha Prince in his Mate Selection

Later on, the Knights from the Vermin Kingdom show up in front of them. To her surprise, her mouth gape widely, and she's feels the whole world-shaking. She couldn't stand tall, wobbling knees are making her look so small. The Vermin Kingdom's Knights wear the usual metal-like uniform, but the one thing that distinguishes them from the Knights of the Raphbarg Kingdom is their green capes with the gold-plated symbol of the snake while Raphbarg Knights are in red capes with a yellow embroidery of a lion.

Trapped: Into the Unknown

Trapped: Into the Unknown

Vampires are strong although I believe that Shiloh can manage it since he is Craven and I also saw once what he can do. We stop walking when we reach the large gate of the Cravens manor. The knight who was guarding the gate I escaped from before came near to us to greet us but he stopped when he saw what Shiloh was holding. It is a gold circle with a Cravens logo and as soon as the guards saw what he was holding, he woke up the other knights and after that they opened the door. If I am not mistaken, the people who hold that circle are acknowledged by our government, the council. It means that you are a secret investigator or you are a royal.

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

The rest of the box is white quartz which has a cavity inside it to hold the pieces. Jessie squeals running her hands over it, then she opens it to reveal the pieces inside it. Which are all in their own little divots in blue velvet cushioning. The pieces are unlike anything he’d ever seen before, the two sets are made of Damascus steel, one in blue and one in gold. The rooks, are styled to look like the bird of the same name, the knights are horses rampant. The bishops are men with mitres on, and carrying croziers.

Illusion

Illusion

"It was the little crannogman, I bet." "No one knew," said Meera, "but the mystery knight was short of stature, and clad in ill-fitting armor made up of bits and pieces. The device upon his shield was a heart tree of the old gods, a white weirwood with a laughing red face." "Maybe he came from the Isle of Faces," said Bran. "Was he green?" In Old Nan's stories, the guardians had dark green skin and leaves instead of hair. Sometimes they had antlers too, but Bran didn't see how the mystery knight could have worn a helm if he had antlers. "I bet the old gods sent him."

Dark Luna Rising

Dark Luna Rising

“You flatter me, but thank you.” As she wandered deeper, her gaze landed on something striking mounted on the wall above a stately fireplace. It was a large shield with the name Di Rocco in bold letters, beautifully ornate. The shield was flanked by two banners. To the left hung The Board’s insignia—a black and silver hexagram interwoven with an ankh at its center. To the right was a second emblem, more intricate, marked with a double hexagram, a hexagon at its core, and a small dot in the center of the hexagon.

The Dragons of Edon

The Dragons of Edon

He swung the blade in a circular flourish and slid it back into its sheath expertly. The Knights on the platform, as well as those gathered nearby, broke into applause. Each new Knight was presented with armor and a Khortaal. They each drew their new blade, raising them in salute toward the Dragon. “Black Knights!” boomed Ghaeron, “You are now the sword that defends Edon. The steel that protects the innocent, and banishes the wicked.”

Mated To The Alpha Alien

Mated To The Alpha Alien

They are quicker than I am, leaping through the air with their long, thin legs. “There's no time. Tell me you have the cure?” “I do, brother. I will find you even if it's the last thing I do. I. Will. Find. YOU!!” He snarls with conviction. I come to a halt as I glance upwards to see a Rion leaping over my head, landing on his feet in front of me. He adorns the traditional Rion gold-plated armor with a helmet to match. A black plume runs through the center of the helmet, indicating that he is a Knight of the Royal family. He swings his four-metre-long Knight lance in his hands.

Definitely wasn't expecting the writing to be great! Usually when I come across popular werewolf stories, they contain many grammatical and spelling errors but this one showed how the author really take time crafting their chapters. I'm not into the werewolf genre but this one is greatly written!

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

But the besieged had not yet been destroyed, and the Gate had not yet been conquered. Numerous enemies stood in its way, while on the other half of the plain, additional armies remained unconquered. The core principle was south of the road, and the knights were grouped around their chieftain's flag there. And she glanced out, and in the dimming light, she saw the Town's banner, which was well ahead of the conflict and surrounded by few troops. Then she was seized with red rage and yelled aloud, and she rushed against with the trusty steed and the green with the enormous crush of men, presenting her banner, black serpent against crimson, and indeed the dragging of the bladed weapons was like

Frequently Asked Questions

The image that sticks with me is the fallen knight clutching a massive, runed greatsword—think of something between a sacrificial relic and a battlefield tool. The blade's fuller is clogged with ash and moss, and the hilt is wrapped in leather blackened by old blood; every swing sounds like a tree breaking. I picture him wading through mud and banners, dragging that weight with a kind of stubborn grace that makes enemies stagger back before contact.

When he strikes, it's not finesse but inevitability. The greatsword allows for sweeping arcs that clear shields and cut down multiple foes, and it gives the knight this hulking silhouette that reads as both tragedy and menace. If you like that grim, weary warrior vibe, it hits the same note as 'Dark Souls'—a weapon that tells its own history just by how it moves.
