Red Kryptonite Ring Smallville Novels & Stories

Returning her focus to the heavy-set man, she saw him fumbling with something in his pocket. He produced a tiny ring that was completely unique and different from anything she had ever seen. The band was thick, crafted from a pitch-black metal, it held a deep red stone in its center, and was embellished with eerie, mysterious symbols. With deliberate motion, he slipped the ring unto his finger, causing the rare gemstone to momentarily sparkle in the dim light. Claire was intrigued, but she kept her questions to herself. Except one. "Where are we going?" She asked, her voice breaking the tense silence.

“Something is off about this guy, how is he able to do that?” Gary, was skeptical at first of his friend's observation. He remained unconvinced that the ring in Liam's finger was blinking, as that was very impossible. "You're saying the ring is bonding with him already?" Gary expressed his shock at the idea. “I don't think so, he has only worn it for like three months, so it's impossible for the ring to bond with him already.” He added, his attention fixed on Liam's every move, his gaze tracing Liam's actions. As Liam maneuvered through the skirmish, Gary's eyes remained fixed on the ring, and to his surprise, the ring emitted a faint, subtle blue blinking light.

"Go back. Zoom in on his hand." He does, moving the image backward then hits play. He zooms the picture in on his right hand and there, something anyone who didn't know to look for it could overlook even on this clear image, is the gold of a ring on the man's pinkie finger caught in the light of the blinking light in that garage. "More. Zoom closer." Aaron does and I see it. I see the red glint of a ruby eye and the unmistakable point of the Ricci's ear.

“There is no name on it.” Alpha Orion shrugged his shoulders in response. Why would Ryder refer to himself as my mate? After what happened yesterday? Now anxious, I snagged the little gift box open and a ring was nestled on a tiny, red velvety cushion. The ring looked like it had been coated with something. My hands shook violently as I stared at it. And the box fell out of my hand to the ground with a thud. Blood. The ring was coated with dry blood. But that wasn't the only reason I was trembling.

Liam cussed. "And what's this magical ring made out of?" "You do ask a lot of questions love. They are made of black Kyanite stones, oh and guess what, I have one with me for Jake and I'm willing to give it to him only if he agrees to my terms" "And what terms will I be agreeing to?" Jake asked angrily as he came to the living room with Jade. "Oh I'm sorry, did I interrupt your steamy make-out session?" Liam asked sarcastically and then out of annoyance, Dahlia used her powers to subdue him.

I yelled at her. "Awwn." She fawned falsely and stared at me with a pitiful look before making a "tsk" sound. The kantras black magic ring was a powerful ring that takes the life of anyone that comes in contact with it, except of course its owner. When hit with the ring, it drains life out of an human. It reduces the person's breathing pace and also dry up the blood that runs in the veins. "She should be dead by now cause her other half is with us. Properly tortured by us." She boasted.

Inside a black velvet box was a unique ring, gleaming with a red gemstone as precious as any treasure and circled by 520 tiny diamonds glittering in the light. Each diamond was meticulously chosen to ensure a perfect fit within the setting. This red gem stood alone in its splendor, unmatched anywhere else in the world. Its worth was astronomical—over $3 billion in Venturian currency.

From grief to anger, and with every shallow breath he took, I could feel his thirst for blood emanating from him in waves. 'I lost my best friend that day, my strength, true love, real guidance and so much more. ' He paused and with his voice lowered he spoke. 'Only a silver ring remained behind, with the initials R.B engraved on it's green centre stone. ' The more he talked the more I knew how the matter affected him. He wasn't allowed to break down without his people mistaking his emotions for fragility. 'It's the only key to finding out her killer, problem is, it has a cloaking spell over it. '

He stepped forward and handed Kraven a small velvet box. For some weird reason, the room felt even quieter. Maybe it was just in my head. But it was like everything paused. Kraven opened the box and held out a simple diamond ring. Just a look at it would let you know that Kraven has eyes for good things—he must have ordered it from the best diamond ring producers in the world. He took my hand slowly, like he’d done this in his head a hundred times already, and slid the ring onto my finger. His fingers brushed mine slightly longer than needed.

“You’re thinking it holds something.” I didn’t answer. Because it wasn’t a thought. It was a certainty. I turned to the old man. “What else?” He paused, his eyes darting downwards a little.. I smiled. That was a mistake on his part. “There’s more,” I said. He swallowed. “The ring responds to blood.” Oh sheesh, I don't like where this was heading to at all. Jerome stiffened. “Explain.” “It does not activate fully unless in contact with the blood of someone it recognizes.”
