The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Vardala reached into his pocket and pulled out a small vial. He then poured out a pill. It looked like a Dragon Prime Pill. Adrian took the pill and examined it closely. Soon enough, he discovered that there was indeed a problem with the pill. "This isn't a Dragon Prime Pill," Adrian commented. Vardala was astonished. "It isn’t? What is it then? I followed the recipe for the Dragon Prime Pill to the T. How could it turn into something else?"

Maid To The Three Mafia Kings

Millie instinctively stepped back, her eyes narrowing. “I don’t do drugs, Nina.” Nina chuckled softly, her crimson lips curving into an amused smile. “It’s not drugs, silly. This is just a harmless little cocktail to help you keep it together. Trust me, you’re going to need it once you step out of here.” Millie’s eyebrows furrowed as she stared at the pill. “A cocktail?” Nina sighed. “It’s a mix of herbs, okay? Cooked down and pressed into a pill. It helps you relax and remain calm when you see… well, some of the things you’re about to see.”

Daniella turned to her watch and responded, “Uhhh, it's exactly 3 p.m., why?” The driver pulled out a pill bottle from a compartment in the dashboard of the car and popped it open. The word “Alpha-J” was written boldly on the bottle, and there was only one red pill inside it. “What’s that?” Angela asked. “Oh, haven't you heard about it? It's a new drug that was produced by Higher Wellness Pharmaceuticals and endorsed by Governor Gerald and Professor Joseph of the Westerville international research laboratory. The drug helps to relax the body and mind and also kills every pain, no matter how small.

"Yes! The pill is real—there's no mistaking it!" Tet agreed excitedly. "I once read about the recipe in an old text on Draconian traditional medicine—the hue is emerald as the pill in that chest, and it is also called the Jade Marrow Pill. I thought it was a fantasy, but now it turns out to be real. It is real!" With both Tet and Gene vouching for the Jade Marrow Pill, the guests were suddenly less skeptical than shocked. If the pill was real, its value would be…

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

That kind of feeling would make one lose one’s mind in an instant. At this moment, Doris believed in her heart that this pill would definitely rescue her father. Next, she followed Charlie’s instructions and put the pill into the water. As she was preparing to look for a pair of non-reusable chopsticks to stir the pill to help it dissolve faster, an amazing scene happened! The Healing Pill swiftly dissolved in the water, and in less than two or three seconds, it had dissolved completely! Moreover, after dissolving, the warm water did not turn murky. Just like grenadine, it was translucent.

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

An elite-quality pill soon came into view. Normally, Emery did not bother to look twice at someone else's pill, but she had to do a double take when she noticed the nine golden lines on the pill. In her shock and astonishment, she exclaimed, "An elite-quality pill?! But how?! It can't be possible?!" Disbelief was strewn across her visage, and her momentary distraction caused all the materials in her cauldron to burn. There was no denying that the Crystal Spring Pill in front of Severin was an elite-quality pill with nine unmistakable golden lines.

This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

The other pile was blue—painkillers for the leg. To anyone else, the difference was obvious. Danger red. Calm blue. But Cale was hesitating. His hand hovered over the red pile, then the blue, then back again. He picked up a red pill. He brought it to his mouth. "Stop," Elion said. Cale froze. The pill touched his lip. "Which one is that?" Elion asked, walking over. Cale looked at the pill. "It is the... analgesic. For the pain."

Irene thought Cedric might have some insight and eagerly asked, "Dr. Aicker, you can tell that the pill Dad took was a genuine medicinal pill, right?" She continued, "I knew it couldn't be fake since Harvey got them directly from Mistveil Peak. It's perfectly normal for Dad to faint. His body was just too weak for such powerful medicine!"

Good introduction. It sounds as if Christina was forced to be cold & dump Andrew. Since after he left, we see that she was aware of her actions & didn’t simply, not care. The rest were quite the typical cliché in Chinese type of stories. I’ll be great if the 2 made amends, unlike the typical cliche

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Drake nodded in agreement, and Debra breathed a sigh of relief. She couldn't believe he had fallen for her lies. He might be cunning with his enemies, but he was gullible when it came to women. Not even Cathryn would believe such a lie. "Alright, I'll take your word for it," Drake said, tossing her a small vial. Debra saw a red pill inside the vial. She remembered what Andrew had told her about this new type of drug, sold as red pills that looked like candy to avoid suspicion.

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

She grabbed a random flask and shook out a purple, crystal-like pill. One look and she already knew that it was not an ordinary pill. She saw the Energy Nurturing Pills and Beauty Pills sold by Cynthion Group, but she never saw any purple-colored pills so she did not know their function. "That's- I won't tell you!" His heart sank, because the purple pill she held was the Dragon Pill. He produced a little over thirty Dragon Pills with the Fairy Fruit and there were only twenty pills left. The Dragon Pills were crucial to his survival and were his last resort when he was in danger, so he could not possibly tell Ruth the truth.

Every1 listen up! If they keep posting only 1 chapter a day, we shud simply stop reading. It is quite disorienting. Waiting a couple of weeks will solve 2 problems. 1) Enough chapters to keep it engaging. 2) More importantly, hurt their pockets. It could lead them to change this pathetic behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

The red pill and blue pill concept from 'The Matrix' is one of those ideas that sticks with you long after the credits roll. Neo's choice between swallowing the red pill (truth, harsh reality) or the blue pill (blissful ignorance) feels like a metaphor for so much more than just the plot of a sci-fi movie. I've always seen it as a commentary on how we navigate life—do we confront uncomfortable truths head-on, or do we prefer the comfort of not knowing? It's wild how often this pops up in discussions about politics, conspiracy theories, or even personal growth. Some days, I wonder if I'd have the guts to take the red pill. The idea of waking up to a world that's nothing like what you believed is terrifying, but there's something undeniably compelling about raw honesty, even if it hurts.

What fascinates me most is how this dichotomy isn't just black and white. Real life rarely offers such clear-cut choices. Sometimes, ignorance really is bliss—like not knowing how much caffeine is in your fourth cup of coffee. Other times, truth is the only way forward, even if it feels like swallowing broken glass. The red pill isn't just about rebellion; it's about accountability. And the blue pill? Maybe it's not always cowardice—it could be self-preservation. Either way, the metaphor's staying power proves how deeply it resonates with our collective psyche.
