Sophia’s smile disappeared. A second sentence appeared. “And someone there is waiting for Seraphina.” Lucien looked at her. “That’s not good.” Sophia closed the book. “No.” Then the book opened again. One final sentence appeared: “THE FIRST DAUGHTER HAS ENTERED A WORLD WHERE EVEN THE AUTHOR CANNOT WRITE.” Sophia stared. Far beyond the outer universe Seraphina stepped onto an unfamiliar planet. The sky was purple. Three moons hung above her. She looked around. “Beautiful.”

Distant shapes moving through the treeline. Wolves. Dozens of them. And at the front, a woman in crimson. Her red eyes glowed in the darkness. Ravenna. She'd brought an army. --- **End of Chapter 7**

He figured there'd be other chances. Switching to Instagram, Zachary mindlessly browsed until a notification popped up just as the taxi neared campus. After a dazed moment, he recognized his favorite mysterious comic artist, Dreamy, had updated after two silent years. He clicked on it without hesitation. … The protagonist remained the chubby little robot, Reddy. In this new chapter, Reddy continued his journey across the world in pursuit of the moon. We can have our own novel in real life, you can also tell who's your ally and who's the antagonist. In my own novel, I have an antagonist. It's my Dad, the evil antagonist. I have a friend who's my ally and I can share my feelings with them. I can trust them except for my Dad. For now, I couldn't tell how I can end my novel in a way of, full of happiness and laughter. A recognition that lived below thought. The woman's eyes opened fully. Crimson. Not human. Deep glowing red lit from somewhere inside, burning steady and old and alive. Tyra stepped back. "Who are you." "You already know," the woman said. Her voice was warm and cracked at the edges like something that had been through fire and come out the other side. She moved forward, each step soundless on the black soil. Her crimson eyes moved over Tyra's face with a desperation that was almost physical. He was saved from the efforts of cleaning dirt and mud from himself. Getting up again, he walked further. It was a forest blanketed with red light illuminating from a red moon. This was a parallel world where the moon came out red and sun burgundy like an old witch's cracking dark lips. The rivers flew with water as red as blood and leaves on the trees like dried sheets of red pain that is left spilled under the sun. Even the soil had a red texture to it which smelled like blood.

As I stretched, I looked towards my bedroom window and saw a very large red bird. But not just a normal red but like glowing shiny fiery reds and he was sitting on my windowsill. It was some sort of parrot as bright as a fire! I gently and quietly got out of my bed to get a closer look. As soon as I got to the window the bird turned and looked at me. It had the deepest looking red eyes, I felt it was staring into my soul. I’m familiar with parrots of my world and this was a parrot spliced with fantasy and sci-fi madness.
