Hunter and the Hybrid princess

Hunter and the Hybrid princess

"You wanted to see the island? Welcome then, this is it" She drew him into the doorway and down the staircase, in the dungeons she held him up to the coffin. "I brought you the captain" Horrified the captain saw the skeleton rise, its hollow eyes a glowing red, he screamed when it grabbed him and sank its bony jaws into his neck. Rebecca stood back watching the captain age rapidly as the blood left him, in return the skeleton grew flesh and eventually skin, dark hair sprouted from its head and finally the fully restored red eyes opened.

The Great Wolf

The Great Wolf

Snakes circled the stump she perched on, their heads lifted and swaying like they were in a trance. Amerie crept closer, a deeper feeling of dread overcoming her. A twig snapped beneath her feet and the woman jerked her head up. Amerie froze at what she saw staring back at her, shadowed beneath the jaw of the elk skull. Her lips were black like diseased and dying flesh. Her scarred face beheld no nose, but an opening that resembled that of where one had once been. Her eyes were piercing white with vertical black slit pupils.

Alpha King's Prankster Mate

Alpha King's Prankster Mate

The warlock was before me, inside the mirror, his reflection was taking the entire frame. My eyes doubled over in fear as the dark warlock's hand began to come out of the reflection. His hand was made of skeleton, there was no meat on his hand. He lifted his head . Half of his face was of a skeleton and the lower part of his face was covered in dark grey skin. His eye sockets were hollow , without any eyeballs. Some parts of his skin were burned.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

They were not even sure whether Caspian had received the signal or not. But at this moment, they were not afraid at all. As if sensing everyone's emotions, the black-robed man lifted a hand and slowly took off his black robe hood. Beneath the hood was a shriveled head that looked like a skull. The only difference between the skull and it was that the head was not white, but purple because of the flesh. Two balls of green light lit up in the deep sunken eye sockets. They looked like gloomy ghost fire, causing the surrounding temperature to suddenly drop.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Death Wolf

Death Wolf

Gulping, Zander stared at the three heads torn apart from the bodies lying in the dark slime, the only thing recognizable in the room. The skulls were getting disintegrated. Slowly burning, going down, submerging in the acid like black substance. And he gulps. Daring, he lifts his eyes to look at the source of all this chaos. The girl who stood in the center of the slime with her head lowered, her wet hair veiling her face. The skin he was kissing and caressing a few hours ago was pale, white as a ghost. The worn out hoodie she wore every day was red with blood. Torn from places like someone tried to force her.

It was so good! Having to chose like that would be so hard, especially after their changes. But great read! It was nice to have an actual story line and not just a bunch of sex. Don’t get me wrong I love the passion in books but this was really good.

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Fuck this, I'm getting out of here. “Stop, Rita.” My heart clenches, and the chill is replaced by nervous heat. I grab my aluminium water bottle and start gulping while staring at the skull. “Do you want to see your boy?” it whispers without any bones moving. It’s as though it’s speaking directly into my brain. My limbs and fingers weaken, and I drop the bottle. It clatters against the stone. “What did you say?” I’m asking the skull, pretty sure I’m going to have to see a therapist.

Forced to Marry the Wicked Werewolf Prince

Forced to Marry the Wicked Werewolf Prince

This will end soon. He rummages through the net and pulls out a decaying skull, thrusting it inches from my face. I stifle a scream as I recognize Alec's lifeless face, worms writhing out of his hollow eye sockets. Silent tears stream down my cheeks as Alec's mouth twists into a grotesque smile, revealing rotten teeth and half-decomposed flesh hanging from his jaw.

The Miracle Luna

The Miracle Luna

But my throat locked. The hand pulled the hood back. And I forgot how to blink. His face—or what used to be a face—was a grotesque collage of death refusing to die. Parts of his skull were exposed, bits of muscle webbed over raw bone. One eye socket had collapsed inward, while the other eye bulged out unnaturally, rimmed with black that glistened like tar. His lips were mostly gone, leaving teeth exposed—blackened, crooked—and gums that bled in slow drips. More of those maggot-like things wriggled just beneath his skin, disappearing into sunken holes in his cheeks.

Seven Magics Academy

Seven Magics Academy

But Laeddin wasn't ready to face him yet and neither was I. After a short time, it became apparent we had an audience. The creatures had dark brown fur covering their bodies. Closer to the head, the fur became the color of butter. Their faces were a robin's egg blue in color. When the sunlight struck the blue color just right, their faces looked like skulls. They lined the trees, covering the branches and scaring away the birds. Like soldiers standing at attention, waiting for orders. "What are they?" I whispered. "Skull monkeys," Laeddin responded, squeezing my hand.
