You should wear it more often. I lowered my fork slowly, a pulse leaping in my throat as a familiar coil of excitement settled low in my belly. He'd seen me hours ago, before I came home. Which meant he'd been close. Close enough to watch me laugh with the curator, close enough to know exactly how the dress clung to my hips. Smirking, I messaged him back. 'And here I thought you preferred me in red.' The reply came instantly. Unknown Number: Red is danger. Blue is devotion. I like both on you.

I, Beta Atlas Redding, reject you, Ruby Angelo, as my mate.” These words kept playing in Ruby’s head as she stared at the roof of her room. She hated herself, she hated her life—her life sucked. Beta Atlas was her mate, but as soon as he found out, he was… disgusted, furious, and he had outrightly rejected her, in front of everyone. Her stepsister had no issues. Her mate had accepted her without a second thought, obviously smitten with her, but she had been rejected. The word sounded traumatic to her.

Congrats, dude!” “Nice work, Yanyan! Now you have to tell us all the details!”

Diana did not resist and did not move. Rena gripped Diana's red hair tightly. "I hate these eyes! The blue, and the red hair! I hate them all!" Rena then threw Diana, until this human hit the table, and sat down under the window. She then took the glass filled with water and then poured its contents at Diana. Then with a very deep breath, Rena regained control of her emotions. Honestly, she hated someone who had red hair and blue eyes like Diana's. Rena also has red hair, but she has dark brown irises. But she hated the mixture of the two colors, red and blue. Rena would lose control if she saw someone of that color. If she saw it, she wanted to kill that person right now.

Maverick's POV “Huh?” I repeated. “What's wrong?” I closed the file I was holding, and I was planning to stand up to meet Blue. She looked tired and angry, but I couldn't place what it all had to do with me. I hadn't even crossed my boundary, I was on the couch. “Don't make me repeat myself. Leave now!” Blue growled at me, and the red in her eyes showed up. Just when I had thought that we were finally having a connection of some sort, she does this?

Slowly, I stand on my tiptoes again and snake my arm up his neck to pull him down for a small chaste kiss. And then, I hear one of my siblings’ sound of disgust. “Gross,” Red had his hand covering his eye. He had a tattered bag slung on his shoulder while his other hand was covering Blue’s eyes, who was getting annoyed because covered eyes meant he couldn’t read. I’m sure he didn’t want to peek at us. “And I just ate, Violet. Thanks a lot. I’m going to bleach my eyeballs now.” I rolled my eyes, “You can come out now.”

Just like the simple scratch of a match on a matchbox to ignite a fire. It was as if I had met yet once again with an oppos

“You don’t understand the bigger picture.” I tilted my head slightly. “Do you?” He frowned. “I know what you are planning to do,” I continued “You want to be powerful.” “That’s not what this is,” he snapped. “Isn’t it?” His nostrils flared. “Did you know Blue doesn’t see colors the way others do?” I said calmly. “And neither do you.” He stared at me, confusion shifting into anger. “She has color vision deficiency,” I went on. “And so do you.”

Red just nod her head and went back in browsing. "What are you doing?" Blue asks, she can't seem to understand how can Red has been busy to the point that she's locking herself in her room. "Nothing much..." Red muttered not glancing back to Blue. Blue nods her head and just watch. "Where were you that time?" Blue furrowed her brows when Red asks her something. Blue sighs and leans on her seat and stared at the screen in front. "Just somewhere..." she mumbled. Red accidentally click a file out of irritation. She doesn't like what she heard from her sister. She's about to close the file when it is played. Blue stands up behind Red. She leaned closer to see what is it.
