I’m sure your parents are missing you,” As Richard released her, Blue finally allowed a small exhale of relief, hand nursing her arm and eyes sheepishly avoiding his. She her knew, deep, deep down that Richard was fishing for a confession, not her company. Surely, he didn’t enjoy being around her all that much—she did little to serve his ego and even less to engage in basic conversation. Her company meant only one thing of importance to him; that she wasn’t with Vincent.
