My Death Contract

My Death Contract

He tried to lighten the mood but failed miserably as she just stared at him confused. “I don’t have a choice at all really do I.” “Not really. Although you were willing to commit career suicide just a moment ago. I didn’t think you would actually go that far.” “That over a life imprisoned with you? Yes, I would go that far ten times out of ten.” She was blunt and not happy with the turn of events. “So what now?” “Well assuming you decide to go through with the marriage contract-” “You mean the Death Contract.” “Excuse me?” He was confused.

The Rogue Healer's Secret

Seraphina suddenly understood. Evangeline was buying time. She knew something. Or hoped for something. Before Cassius could speak again, a voice interrupted. "How convenient." The chamber froze. Everyone turned. A silver-haired noblewoman stood near the back. Lady Miriam. One of the kingdom's most respected elders. Her sharp eyes fixed on Cassius. "The King dies and within hours you're discussing coronation." A few nobles shifted uncomfortably. Cassius smiled. "Someone must think of the kingdom."

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

I'm not talking about Daizy Autumn. Thump, thump... As soon as he finished speaking, Caspian heard two clear heartbeats. The corners of Caspian's mouth curled up. "It seems that you understand." If Valdis Goth could speak at this moment, he would definitely shout out, "That's impossible! How could Shaw Charles and Henry Nelson die in your hands?" Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

“In fact, I’m not going to kill you… not me.” The noble was about to speak when in one blink, he found Luna’s golden arrow pierced through right between his eyes. His voice gave a fry. His short, round body fell to the ground with eyes and mouth wide open. Surprisingly, he was still alive... but barely. He tried to crawl towards the carriage, his arms reaching out for the door, but his final breath came… and so was his death.
