Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

I can feel how strongly he wants to take me with him, and I think this conversation went a long way to convincing him to trust those impulses. The next day I go to visit some of the refugees arriving at the port. Sinclair stayed at the Palace to plan, but Henry, Roger, Cora and I set out with a contingent of Gabriel’s royal guards. The refugees are arriving in much the same way we did, cramming into small passenger planes carrying all their earthly belongings, arriving lost and depleted at the air base outside the city. Gabriel is trying to figure out where to send them all and has thus far been relying on local Vanarans who are willing to open their homes as shelter, but I’m determined to h

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

Ruin Me, Alpha: Breaking The Enemy's Daughter

Ruin Me, Alpha: Breaking The Enemy's Daughter

He barked orders, positioning his men in defensive formations. Then I saw them. Not an army. Not monsters. Just people. A group of bedraggled figures emerged from the forest, men, women, children. Their clothes were torn, faces gaunt with hunger. Refugees. "Please!" A woman stumbled forward, falling to her knees. A small child clung to her skirts, no more than five or six years old. "Please, we mean no harm. We just need food. Water. Anything." Ares approached slowly, his sword still drawn. "Where are you from?"

Lala's Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret

Lala's Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret

Not as an individual, suffering from illness such as Lala, or in poverty and illiteracy like Billy, even as a criminal in a community, but at the very edge of existence brought about by famine and war, and the displaced statelessness of the exile, the refugee. In that part of the mind where imagination festers in a cave, seeking escape in gambling and sex, or other visceral forms of entertainment, understanding may try to grow but rarely thrives. “Little man, what now?” cry the discriminated, the impoverished. The little man with his bag of belongings, the earth wanderer with his pushcart family. Or Dogon dreamer under an alien sky. What now? For my life has no meaning, and everything I have

MATED TO MY NEMESIS

MATED TO MY NEMESIS

I asked out loud, surprised. The area we are in is far away from the mansion, very close to the border of the pack. Normally, this part of the pack was usually the poorest, as most of them are mere refugees. To find a school and even a library where refugees stay is definitely something very surprising. And, with the look of things, the people are not being chased away from the library despite the long queue.

Reborn in the Freeze: My Million-Dollar Shelter Begins with

Just a cold emptiness that had become her constant companion. She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. The first wave of refugees had come, and she had turned them away. There would be others, she knew. There would always be others. And she would turn them away too. She had to. It was the only way to survive.

The Quest Of The Sapphire Crown

The Quest Of The Sapphire Crown

It was also about being a leader, and about making difficult decisions that affected the lives of many people. One day, a group of refugees arrived in the kingdom, fleeing from a neighboring land that had been ravaged by war. They were hungry, tired, and in need of shelter and protection. Liara knew that she had to help them, but she also knew that resources were limited. She gathered her advisors and discussed the situation with them, trying to find a solution that would benefit everyone. After much deliberation, they decided to set up a refugee camp outside the city walls, where the refugees could be provided with food, water, and shelter. They also set up a system to help the refugees fin

The Alpha’s Scentless Breeder

The Alpha’s Scentless Breeder

Ezra whispered as he stood close enough. “Do you need anything?” He asked in a calm voice, pulling Ezra closer and ignoring the stares of the Alphas that watched them. Ezra nodded, biting down on his lips with nervousness. Alpha Cage slowly lifted his hands, brushing his thumb against the underside of his lips and pulling it from between his teeth. “Tell me” he ordered and Ezra spoke. “I want to help the refugees” he kept his voice low enough that only Alpha Cage could hear. “Help them?” His eyes narrowed.

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

It was five billion people taking their first breath at the same time. The glass pods shattered. The amber fluid spilled onto the manicured lawns. Men, women, and children tumbled out of their "Safety," coughing and gasping as thirty years of history hit them like a freight train. The Nursery was no longer a museum. It was a **Refugee Camp**. "What... what is this?" a woman in a floral dress asked, looking at the obsidian giant standing in her driveway. "Where's the sun?" a child cried, pointing at the white, shrinking rift in the sky.

The Alpha’s Forbidden Obsession

The Alpha’s Forbidden Obsession

"I'm tired of just surviving. I want to live. Want to raise our child in a world where they don't have to constantly look over their shoulder." "That world might not exist. Not in our lifetime. Maybe not in theirs either." "Then we build it. One day at a time. One battle at a time. One treaty amendment at a time." A commotion at the border interrupted us. Wolves running. Shouting. Fear in their voices. "What now?" I ran toward the disturbance, Lucian close behind. We found them at the north entrance. A group of refugees. Wolves from the Free Packs. Bloody. Terrified. Running from something.

Dragon Prince's Heart

Dragon Prince's Heart

The initial victims fell precisely in the Barney County area. As per the message from the Brighton Duchy envoy, Barnabas Kingdom opened a place for refugees with some conditions. First, they were screened beforehand to ensure there were no signs of black magic on the refugees' bodies. Then, they were categorized based on their respective skills and abilities. Young and old, men and women, were obliged to fight and contribute in their own way. In times of war, all resources were needed. The refugees consisted of humans and non-humans. All seemed not to mind the difference in the race. Currently, there were more important things to take care of, namely the survival of each of them.
