“I promised him I’d check in, can you blame me?” Her eyes narrow, “Yes, yes, I can.” Then she turns to see me, she smiles, “I’m sorry, I’m being rude. I’m Annie, the Beta Female around here. You must be Raina Trainer.” I nod my head as I hold out my hand, “A pleasure to meet you, Beta Annie.” She swats my hand away and comes closer for a hug. The hug is awkward because of her belly in the way, and I swear, I feel the kid inside her kick at me.

Annie's P.O.V I blinked, then instinctively backed out. “why do you wanna know?” “You are!” He said, with affirmation and a smile. “Sure.
