The remaining members of the coven joined Gladdis around the map, each joining hands as they formed a circle. Gladdis emptied the contents of the vial onto the map, before softly nodding towards her colleagues. Immediately, the witches began whispering chants around the map. The phrases were in Latin, causing everyone else in the room to patiently stand and wait without an indication of what was happening. Suddenly, the spilled blood gravitated together in what seemed like a large bubble. Everyone watched in awe as the liquid began transferring across the map, circulating round as it chose where to go. Two minutes passed, the bubble was still swirling around the map, however it kept retreati

"What are you going to do?" Give me the wheel, the witch demanded. I took a deep breath, forcing my walls down, and conceded. Take it. Instantly, the freezing, heavy current slammed into my limbs. My arms moved entirely on their own. I laid the map flat on the stone balustrade, placing Bellamy's shirt directly over the center grid. My left hand rose, my fingers twisting into a sharp, jagged sigil as a low, ancient word slipped past my lips.

- He looked at the witch, who let out a deep breath. - Is it a twenty-one question? What do you want to know next? What is my favorite color? - Callista looked annoyed. - Just tell me, please? - Kylan was adamant. The witch sat straight on the sofa. After a short consideration, she gave this boy some information—nothing he could use against them, though. - We saw her presence on the map. It was a brief moment but enough to locate her. Kylan was beaming with pride. - I am the one you should thank for that. - He said with a smug smile on his face.

My wolf pressed against me, steadying me. The crackle softened. A single spark remained, glowing in my palm like a tiny star. Controlle and contained. I opened my eyes, trembling. The witch’s lips curved slightly. “Better.” Across the clearing, I caught Lucas’s face. His jaw was clenched so tight I thought it might crack. He looked like he wanted to rip me away, but he didn’t move. “Now release it,” the witch ordered. “How…” “Intend it, tell it to go.”

I demanded. We entered the war chamber. A large enchanted map of the territory shimmered with glowing red marks—signs of where the witches were beginning to pour through. The eastern ridge had thinned, their blood magic dissolving parts of the barrier. I focused my energy and placed my palm on the map. “I call upon the strength of the Moon,” I whispered, eyes flashing silver. A cold wind blew through the chamber. The red marks flickered and dimmed as my energy sealed the broken cracks in the wards. The warriors let out collective sighs. Maria smiled through tears.

Maddox asks. Looking at him “ The witch “ Back to Harley “ She won't stop talking and I'm not making sense of anything she saying” I told them what she was saying and they were looking at me like I had grown a second head Until Maddox snaps his fingers “ The Alpha did say that she was looking for a warlock, could that be him.” How could I forget about that “You're right but the picture we have of him is all wrong” I remind them. “ Yeah but with all this magic going around, who knows, what could be right or wrong” Harley says.

Forrest hummed, looking at his mate like they were having a private conversation. "Anyways," Gerwulf broke the silence while everybody mentally conversed," I will leave a map of this territory out. Decide amongst yourselves what it is you want. The only thing off limits is the western borders... I have plans for it. Everything else shouldn't interfere with integrating your territories so choose as you wish." The meeting was dismissed and I followed behind Gerwulf hot on his trail as I was riddled with questions. It made it easy to ignore the curious stares I received from Forrest and Colette on our way out.

Vaelor said, his voice turning cold and bitter as he looked at the representation of the first Alpha. "It looks like they tried to cut the witches out of the deal to keep the power in the family, and that's when the partnership turned into a parasite," I added, and as I spoke, a section of the floor beneath the carvings began to glow with a deep, liquid light that revealed a perfectly still pool of water caught in a basin of roots.

"However, this cursed occasion of the demon child can be avoided if he trails down the bloody path. Following this map, he must release the mad woman. A woman who's flesh he was to consume on his eighteenth birthday must be set free from her chains in the depths of the evil forest by he himself. Once she is set free, her sanity will be restored and the current chosen will be set free of this curse." Pablo read and stopped. "We just have to follow this map." Pablo said. "But this map is weird. I haven't even seen it on any map we studied before." Pablo stated.

And before I am the Weeping Woman, crying. "I'm so sorry," she dropped to the floor and cried. "I just…I just wanted my Tomas back. I want Tomas back." Viola weeps. I sighed and looked at Zayn, who reached inside his cloak and handed me a chalk. I went to an empty wall and drew a rectangular door and characters representing runes. I placed my hand on the wall and closed my eyes as I spoke the ancient tongue of the witches before me. A warm, tingling feeling against my hand meant the magic was a success.
