It turned his head to strike at Zane, spitting blood and venom at him, trying to shake him loose. “I am immune to your venom, Naga!” Zane snarled at him. He lifted the weapon once more and struck. The head severed from the body and rolled away to land at the feet of the men who recoiled in disgust and terror. The body writhed in the final death throes and to the astonishment of the men it turned back in the headless body of a man. “Oh, my god! This is Twilight Zone stuff.” Max rubbed his eyes. He kicked Petrov’s head away from him and spat on it. “You’re naked,” he said to me, “and why are you’re veins turning black?”

The silhouettes screamed in pain as the flames devoured his body leaving only his head full of blackness. Xegris glanced side-eyed and finally walked towards the head lying motionless in the ground. He motioned in the air as the head was lifted into his front. He then clenched his fist, crushing the black matter in the atmosphere. The miasma dissipated instantly revealing a purple crystal left hovering in the air. Xegris smiled as he looked at the woman in his arms. He then guided the crystal into Hellion’s chest, allowing itself to be completely absorbed into her core.

They were not even sure whether Caspian had received the signal or not. But at this moment, they were not afraid at all. As if sensing everyone's emotions, the black-robed man lifted a hand and slowly took off his black robe hood. Beneath the hood was a shriveled head that looked like a skull. The only difference between the skull and it was that the head was not white, but purple because of the flesh. Two balls of green light lit up in the deep sunken eye sockets. They looked like gloomy ghost fire, causing the surrounding temperature to suddenly drop.

I’ll hand it to him, the man could kiss, and his hands were skilled, but while he was busy leaving wet kisses on my neck and whispering erotic things in my ear, I carefully pulled Crimson out from her hiding place under the mattress, where I had hidden her earlier when I snuck into his room. I was just about to go for his neck when he noticed what I was doing and acted fast. He grabbed my arm to keep my blade away and the way we were positioned didn’t give me a clear angle of his neck. So while he was busy trying to disarm my right hand, I switched the blade to my left and pierced Crimson into the femoral artery of his right thigh. Where's the scent coming from Crimson?? “ Up ahead ” I began to follow the trail till I noticed a red stain on the snow. “ What the fuck?? ” “ There's somebody underneath the snow!! ” Crimson yelled in my head. Underneath?!?! Ignoring the expensive tux I immediately got down on my knees and began to dig. Just a few scoops in a a pair of black locks began to surface. A woman…?? I immediately turned the body over and paused as my heart raced.

My breathing turned ragged, my hands gripping the blanket tightly. The memories slammed into me like a wave, choking, drowning. I didn’t want to see them, but they wouldn’t stop. "No," I gasped, squeezing my eyes shut, trying to block them out. My body jerked, turning on the bed. My heart pounded, my chest tightened. My nails dug into my hands. "Stop. Stop. Stop."

It bore an unsettling resemblance to the entity from the Wellspring, its crimson eyes glowing with malevolent power. The corrupted Wellspring's core, somehow fractured but far from destroyed, had manifested as this monstrous entity, a physical embodiment of the darkness Evie had unleashed. All eyes turned to the creature, the fight momentarily forgotten. Evie's heart hammered against her ribs. This was far worse than she had anticipated. Could they even hope to defeat such a monstrosity? As the colossal entity surveyed the battlefield, its gaze fell upon Evie. "If the crystal was designated to be used by just anyone, then it would have been stolen a long time ago, don't you think?" She took out a knife and cut her palm, letting the blood flow into an opening at the top of the crystal. As soon as it had drunk its fill of her blood, the crystal levitated into the air and glowed red. The red colour of the crystal encompassed all of our surroundings, turning the world around us red. Soon, the once-invisible figures of our assailants became visible. Grotesque-looking humanoid creatures that looked like sorry imitations of werewolves. They looked nothing like actual werewolves.
