The Frozen Heart

The Frozen Heart

Frost shimmered along the edges of the injuries, blue white and unnatural, as if the flesh had been frozen rather than cut. "We cannot stop the bleeding!" Elias shouted, the pack’s chronicler, his hands shaking over the wounded man. "This is not natural cold. It freezes the blood in his veins before we can close the wounds." My Alpha’s fists clenched until his knuckles went white. I saw the muscles in his back tighten. He looked like a predator ready to strike, unable to see his enemy. "I have to help him," he growled, his voice deeper than any human sound. "I have to burn the frost out of him."

Frozen Body, Broken Heart

Frozen Body, Broken Heart

For a moment, the assistant was unsure whether to share the news. Seeing their nervous expressions, Sean was filled with jealousy. He pushed Linda aside, pretended to miss a step, and fell down the stairs. However, his screams were ignored this time. Winnie did not even bother to look at him. Instead, she asked the assistant, "Where's Klose? Take me to him!" The assistant replied, "Mr. Klose has... has passed away. And his body was taken to the Ingenuity Lab three days ago. It's being used... for the lab's cryo-resurrection experiments."

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

White crystals solidified and formed over his shoulders and the back of his arm, coating the upper right half of his body and locking his neck so the couldn’t move his head. But the only thing he had done was grunt, tense, and wrench free of the ice, sending broken, sparkling shards down to the ground where they evaporated into misty plumes. And that was that. Netra tried again several more times, but he hardly seemed to notice. When she gave up the attempt and chased after them both so she could snap at his legs, he kicked her aside hard enough to send her flying.

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

Set Free After Death

Set Free After Death

How did the wind blow it over when it was so heavy? Soon, my consciousness began to fade, and my eyelids grew heavier. I slowly collapsed into the pool of blood, my heartbeat slowing as time passed. I could feel my vitality slipping away. Before I died, I managed to dial a number, and I heard the sound of the door unlocking from the fingerprint lock. I assumed it was Harvey, but my eyelids no longer could stay open, fluttering shut eventually. But at my very last moment, I heard a phone ringing—and it was gradually closing in.

Frozen Revenge

Frozen Revenge

"Can I ask a practical question? If Maya goes back to January 15th, how does she survive the freeze? The whole point was she wasn't prepared then. She'd be trapped in the apocalypse with no shelter." "Future Maya said the device brings you back after twenty-four hours," Maya said. "You'd have to survive one day of the freeze, then you return to present." "Survive how? Where?" Maya realized she didn't know. Future Maya hadn't specified. "I'd have to secure shelter quickly. Maybe One World Trade Center itself—it survived the freeze." "So the plan is: go back, find Victor, kill him, then hide in his building for twenty-four hours hoping you don't freeze to death." Jessica's voice was flat. "Tha

Twin Aces: Claimed by the Alpha Captain (MM Romance)

Tonight, I was untouchable. "Behind you," Orion called out. Fenrir was back. He had recovered and was tracking me like a dog. He didn't go for the puck. He went for my hips, his hands reaching out to lock me into a bear hug. I planted my skate and spun around, the puck staying on my blade. Fenrir's frame brushed against my shoulder padding. The rotation carried me out of his reach. He overskated the play, his blades screeching as they tried to stop.

Frozen Fangs: Rivals on Ice

Beneath the Surface Deep under the ice of Rogers Arena, the hidden silver vein pulsed brighter. Energy spread outward like roots. Searching. Connecting. Waiting. End the Stupid Bet, Win My Stage

As soon as my toes touched the icy water. I screamed and stopped in my tracks. "Oh my God. It's so cold. There's no way I'm going in!" "You get used to it.” He leaned down and splashed water up at me. "Andro!"I ran away from him and back up to our mat. I quickly grabbed a small football from my bag. "Let's at least warm up first.” I tossed it to him. He caught the ball and threw it back to me. "I never would have guessed you could throw a football.” He said.

PLAYERS

PLAYERS

, he asked trying to conceal the huskiness in his hoarse displeased voice. Cynthia shook her head," you're a player, you shouldn't think about those things". On hearing her words, Jeffery, again, for the first time, didn't feel the usual pride he felt when someone refered to him as a player. For Cynthia it was like since he was a player, then she could play along. He gritted his teeth, this woman had never given him face. Cynthia watched his angry face and felt satisfaction welling up, "if you're that mad I can go back". She said,
