The woman staring back at me wasn’t Anastasiya Van Houten anymore… I was Valencia. She gave me her life. I had spent my entire life knowing exactly who I was. I had defined myself by the mission, by the kill. Relishing in the darkness like a demon. But now? I was something worse. Something stronger. My heart hardened. It took a month due to the Swede accident, but they’re here now.

The memory of her baby's innocent face, cold and lifeless in her arms, gave her strength she had never known before. The winds carried her determination, her pain, and her newfound power – a power that would soon shake the foundations of the very pack that had underestimated her for far too long.
