Trisha heard Mrs Perry complain as she glided through shelves teemed with ages-old books before she could be pulled into hours-long conversation with the old lady. She picked up a book from a dilapidated shelf, blew off the dust that had found solace on it's leather covering over the years, and squinted— because of the poor illumination, to see the books name. ‘Wizards Can Do More’ by one of the greatest wizards ever, LP Travis. It was a book she wanted but not one she needed. Hence, she put it back in its spot among other dusty books and walked to another shelf.

She took the book from Vida’s hand and playfully kept it out of her reach. “Hey!” Vida giggled. “Stop it, Tessa. You’ll get my page messed up.” Tessa would not actually lose Vida’s progress in the book. She still sensibly kept her finger where Vida was reading and turned to take a look at the cover. “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief,” Tessa rolled her eyes. “Ugh, again? How many times have you read this book?” Vida looked up and actually thought about it. Fantasy books have always enthralled her. There is something about these stories that make her fall in love a hundred or maybe even a thousand times.

I stood silently watching as his fangs grew slowly, he turned to our king, death in his eyes, "Must I or will you do it?" I could see King Rodrick’s eyes shift in fear. That useless coward! Overgrown toad! To think I once thought he could be a true leader- "AAAGGGHHH!!!!" I screamed holding on to my head, taking a step forward. I felt like someone was burning me. Was I on fire all of a sudden? "aaaaaaaagh!!!!!" I let out another petrifying scream. Why was I burning why was I so hot? Why couldn't I breathe?! No, I couldn't take much more of it. I would die. Too much heat, too much!!

"This is a nightmare. Which ones should I bring?" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Okay, let's get the ones that can keep me sane. Sane. Not the emotionally damaging ones. Not the ones that ruined me. First of all, the series about Poseidon's son." I grabbed my entire collection of the series. "And the series which is the sequel to it." I hauled another bunch of books and all put them to the floor. "There's no way I'm leaving your books behind, Uncle Rick."

It changed daily, but W-17-D listened nonetheless because it was something to do. W-18-D was quiet today. W-17-D assumed that he was in for weekly experiments. Everyone was always quiet afterward for a few days. The experiments were painful, they needed to let their bodies adjust. He left his neighbor be and instead attempted to read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief for the umpteenth time. W-17-D had read it so many times, he could probably recite it, word for word. He needed to put in a request for more reading material.

Everything is going well until her mother gets a phone call, and goes off to the study and locks herself there. Getting bored, Riveria leaves the Tv on and goes up to her room. She locked her door and blasts loud music while rereading the first Percy Jackson book. She didn't know when she fell asleep, but she sure knows when she starts dreaming. As usual, her dreams take her on a wild ride. She is on the cliffs, looking out at the sea. Two bodies lay below. With one last glance, the wolf moves away and runs through the streets roaring, daring someone to come out.

She can take any insults, but the one thing she hates the most is being called a "pig." Jordyn's childhood wasn't easy. Although her father and brothers love her, she is insecure about her weight.
