They couldn't risk Liam telling everyone that the real boss was actually Phil. Karen's heart raced as she watched the robber's gun aimed at Liam, his stern expression heightening her fear. In a swift and practiced motion, Liam disarmed the robber by snatching the gun from his hand. Before the startled man could react, Liam struck him with the back of the gun rendering unconscious. However, Liam didn't let him fall to the ground as he used him as a shield. The other robbers, seeing their comrade disarmed and used as a human shield, raised their firearm and aimed at Liam. "What do you think you're doing?"

I said, stepping in front of him to create a barrier against the oncoming rogues. “Right!” he replied with a serious look. The first rogue charged in and Lucian went in ahead of him to intercept and immediately fight for his life. It was astonishing to watch him in motion, flowing with power and ease, as though guided by instincts. “Ruby, I need you now!” he yelled over the brawl.
