I stare at him like the poor vampire has lost his mind, but he seems to be in too good of a mood to acknowledge my staring. Kieran turns around and places his hand on my back to push me forward a little. We reach a bright red door, and he stops again. "Alright, each door is a different colour to make it easier for everyone to find their way around and find the shit they need. Yes, I could label the doors too, but I don't think a first-timer would like to walk past the door that has the word "DILDOS" written all over it." Kieran laughs at his joke, but I remain silent. If only I knew what he's trying to describe. "The red door is for clothes - playtime outfits, Arena clothes, or anything you

Taking one slow step to meet up with me, we continued down the hall. One step closer to being friends, check! We finally reached the family wing. These doors were huge, black with a hint of red. Demons are displayed on each of the panels and gold trim around each door. “You know my room.” Loki pointed to his door. His door had a dark green hue to it. “That’s Lucifer’s door,” he pointed to the room beside his. His door was the same as most of the others, dark with a hint of red. No personality on the door like Loki’s.

I was so lost that it was bringing back the horrible childhood memories of getting lost in the maze of mirrors at the county festival that came to town every year. We finally came up to these huge double doors. They looked to be made of red oak, with very intricate details carved into them. One door had what looked to be demons and the other door had what looked like angels or goddess on it. Both looking at each other like they were charging at each other, getting ready for a battle.

“You are a smart girl.” The bunkers are totally underground, the first door laid flat with the ground, dirt was thrown over them to disguise them. This way no one would notice they were there. Once they pass the first door there is a set of steps that lead to another door. This door is heavy metal. It was made to keep the rogues out. “Ladies follow me down here. You will find food and water waiting for you on the other side of the door.” As soon as Drew opens the second door Kevin comes out yelling at his son. “You didn’t listen, did you?”

“Blooby . . . bloob . . . carried everyone out . . . bloob . . . to protect everyone inside.” “Carried everyone out?” Lydia repeated, her voice rising as realization struck her. The rest of the group froze, their attention shifting to the towering double doors behind them. Unlike the overgrown brush and earthy tones of the forest surrounding them, the door’s frame was a gleaming silver, etched with glowing ciphers that pulsed faintly in the dim light. The boss stood silently, his hand brushing the intricate carvings as though trying to decode their meaning. I stood beside him, my heightened senses picking up the faint hum of energy radiating from the door.

an officer muttered mockingly as they dragged Elias toward the stairwell, shoving him into the harsh, flickering fluorescent light of the building's interior. The roof was left empty, the rain continuing to wash away the physical evidence of the Door, keeping its secrets for a world that was no longer there.

Behind us, the plaza moaned—distant drones dragging themselves out of rubble, sirens wailing in a broken loop, the ever-present hum of the dying city. Beside me, my skin still tingled where Corvin’s hands had been. My ribs ached under the fresh bandage. His warmth felt like an echo in the narrow doorway we’d just left. The almost-kiss clung to the back of my mind, unhelpfully vivid. “Okay,” Jax said, drawing in a breath. “So. Talking doors. That’s new. Does anyone have the cheat code?” “There’s no code,” Grant said grimly. “They mean it. You don’t get in unless the Gate’s fed.”

“You will only hurt yourself from doing that and nothing is going to happen to that door; you will only get yourself tired.” I don’t want to hear your logic, I just want result, so am not stopping, kay! I Want to save our people. And I don’t want to know how to. “Do you know what this are made of? You not saving them, you are killing them,” “What do you mean?” I asked The doors are made of monolith of black iron; its surface engraved with ancient runes that repels force. I cracked up laughing knowing that the door hurt her more than she hurt it. All the doors around the house are reinforced solid oak doors made specially for our supernatural strength. There has only been one to break down one of these doors and that was HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED. Her little fist pounded on the door. I ignored her giving the misconception of being mad at her.

The hallway behind the door was not too long and only had a closed entrance on the left side, which we did not touch. In the end, the door was no longer wooden, let alone black. It was a thick iron doorway with a security code on the side. Darwin wrote down the number, shielding it from my eyes as he stood between me and the pack, until with an electronic sound the lead-gray door gave way. The younger brother stood in the doorway and beckoned us in. Fito tapped the wall to the right on the inside and several LED lights came on, illuminating everything. «Oww... Wtf» I thought.
