The ceiling began to shake. Large pieces of tile fell from above. From the hole in the ceiling a group of silver robots came down. They did not have faces. They had needles where their hands should be. "The Vaccine " Patient Zero hissed. The robots did not move like people. They moved like spiders. They crawled across the walls and the ceiling. One of them dove at June. Its long needle was glowing with a blue light. "June duck!" Dante grabbed a heavy metal chair. Swung it. The chair hit the robots head.

"Enemy patrol ahead. Clockwork Knights." At the end of the bridge, a squad of six robots marched in formation. They looked like medieval knights, but made of copper and clockwork, with glowing red eyes and swords for arms. "I got 'em!" Tank yelled. "LEEROY JENKINS!" He didn't wait for a plan. He charged forward, his golden armor shining like a beacon. His minigun spun up with a high-pitched whine. BRRRRRT. Blue laser fire erupted from his arm. The heavy rounds slammed into the Clockwork Knights.

The ceiling didn't just crack; it pulverized. The diamond-tipped Mantis-Borer—a segmented, robotic centipede designed for deep-crust mining—shrieked as it ground through the final layer of basalt. Seeing that the Dragon's Safehaven was not going to last much longer, Wilbur clenched his right fist, gathering black energy. Then, he bent down and punched the floor. With a loud slam, the huge force rippled through the tiles, spreading black energy all around. All the robots tripped to the floor because of the ripple of energy. Under the force of the power of destruction, they fell into pieces.
