The falling granite slabs struck the black glass ledge with the deafening report of artillery, shattering into fine white grit that whistled past our faces in the rising gale. Far above us, the foundation of the Northern Citadel groaned like a dying beast as the upper locking teeth sheared away under the spire’s increasing kinetic pull.

I want to shout, I want to let out all of my frustrations but I couldn’t. I trembled in pain but managed to make myself sob quietly in his chest. I know it’s awkward considering that I dumped him but I can’t stop myself anymore. All the tears that wanted to get out managed to escape and now I couldn’t fix myself. I roared. My heart was racing, a frantic thud-thud in my ears. "Pull back!" We scrambled backward. The grit was abrasive under my palms as we climbed the tunnel entrance. We cleared the lip just as the physics took over.

The young man was quite rude "Mike ; don't be rude " an old man in his late fifty's , chided The young man . This man was Remus , her father's rival. A few years ago he was a talented business man . His business was booming but then her father made him lose everything .The reason Lana chose Remus was because this man was really honest . If he was scheming like her father than he would still be a rich business man . "Miss, we are closing down " spoke Remus gently .

It took him so long before he drifted into a deep sleep filled with fiery nightmares. ❇❇❇ Thunder roared and the world turned white for a second when a bolt of lightning struck the ground. The steep slope of the mountain was making it harder for him to get away as it was already eroded and rocks were falling down from afar. Looking back, he could see the flicker of torches the darkened soldiers were carrying.
