THE ROGUE LUNA
He looked up from his desk, surprise flashing across his face before it was replaced with a sneer.
“Well, well,” he drawled, leaning back in his chair. “What do we have here? A rogue, sneaking into my territory. Bold of you.”
I stepped forward, my voice steady. “I’m here to make you pay for what you’ve done to your pack.”
Aldric laughed, the sound grating against my nerves. “And what exactly do you think you can do, little girl? I’ve crushed stronger enemies than you.”
“Maybe,” I replied, drawing my dagger. “But I’m not alone.”
