He had guessed to take things slow for now so as not to freak the woman out. “What was this place called again?”, she asked her gaze back at the view. He turned his head towards the wonderful sight. “Kósmima.” The silver-haired woman turned her head towards him, meeting his red eyes glowing from the sun. “Kósmima? What does that mean?”

I don’t know but it feels like we do have this awkward presence for each other and we both don’t know how to make it not an awkward one. “Why did you argue with Primo?” My head was occupied at that moment they fought over me. I still don’t know why and I want to know why they did it. “He’s just an annoying and arrogant peasant who pissed me.” Doom buries his face in the pillow. I replied, “Correction, he doesn’t look like a peasant for me. He’s a company holder and a future CEO.” “But he looks one. Tss,” Doom glared at me. I chuckled to tease him. “Okay, fine! But why were you arguing? And why did you murmur my name earlier?”

There was no anger, no wrath but pure dominance in the game, technique over strength. Mr. Kim on the other hand was a combination of all. He turns to the second Romie and mumbles something. I watch in horror as the second Romie pulls out an angel blade and plunges it into the first one. The first Romie disappears into a cloud of smoke. "NO! Not Romie! Not again!" I slide down the barrier flat on my ass. Energy depleted. My left shoulder leans up against the barrier. I lean my head against its cool surface too. Second Romie mimics my position only he's on his right shoulder facing me. His little hand lays flat against the surface. Using strength and energy I don't have; I touch my much bigger hand to his.

I came here a few times a month, careful not to take too much. As I neared the cabin I picked up an odd scent. I knew the cabin belonged to an old couple in their fifties. They were human. This scent, however, did not belong to a human. I could make out that scent anywhere. That's the thing with wolves. We all have that familiar scent. It's coded in our DNA and this was a wolf's scent. Male to be specific. And clean too. Which meant he wasn't a rogue. I could smell the air thick with his testosterone. It's bad enough on male humans, but when you could smell male werewolf testosterone, that was on a whole different level.

"Hey man, get out of the way!" Rademos felt possessed as he shot out an arm and hit the stranger who just spoke with so much force that he flew across the road and smashed into a glass window.

Bradley's voice was so broken that I could feel it tugging at my heart strings while my wolf was howling in delight at the prospect of mating with Blake when we got the hell out of here so she was as good as useless right now.
