"I just got word from a messenger now," He was panting frantically, "Aragon is very sick and does not have much time left. He requests you come to see him immediately." Aragon was sick? When had the elder fallen sick? He looked healthy and full of life five days ago, during the coronation. How come he had fallen fatally ill now? Or was he sick for a while now, but had been masking it? I think you have done enough, don't you think? Raven hasn't left your side in days. She has refused to eat or bathe. She is going to fall sick soon you know,' Roy said to the sleeping Roman. He was trying to sound funny but I could see that he was trying to control himself from breaking down. He bent down and kissed Roman on the head. He sat down on the edge of the bed after that and faced me.

I'm sick, not incapacitated!” I say trying to get him to see reason. “You are going to be on bed rest for the remainder of the week. I'm going to take the time off and stay with you, Princess.” Roman says with a tone of finality as he marches into his room. I groan in despair as I allow my head to droop onto his shoulders. My plan was backfiring and there was little I could do to change its course. I was running out of time but Roman wouldn't leave.

The guards swallowed heavily, some of them stepping back because they're unable to bear his angry aura, suppressing their wolves. "Who was the lazy bag of bones on duty last night?" Reagan snarled again, making them look at the floor. "Your majesty, he took a sick leave this morning. He was apparently suffering from dysentery yesterday, making him feel very weak," James slowly said, carefully picking his words. Reagan laughed coldly, giving him a piercing look.
