I had heard rumors about a beautiful female doctor in our hospital's urology department named Jade Clemens. It was said her face had an angelic innocence, yet her figure sparked imagination. Many male doctors were eager to meet her; some even went directly to the urology clinic to register as her patients. The doctors from the anesthesiology department where I worked often mentioned her, joking that they would make appointments with her someday to get a "thorough examination". I told them not to go too far and to respect her profession, but they replied, "The lady herself doesn't mind, so why are you so concerned?"

he stammered. “ I said they can wait!” I rasped without paying attention to what he said. A second passed and I apologized to him. That's when I heard someone cough. The doctor looked in the direction and quickly excused himself, wearing a thin smile. “ Oh my God, Roman and Dominic Lunar…here.” “ I told you he wasn't listening to the doctor,” Roman said to Dominic and stretched his hand for a handshake. The rumours were right about both men. One is warm, and the other, icy cold.

His eyes were red and he just stood at the door staring at her. But the person Lanre was seeing was not his female colleague but Rosa. He stepped aside and let her come in. The female doctor walked in and Lanre shut the door, locking it again. She looked at him and saw he was totally drunk. "Doctor Lanre, what happened? I haven't seen you like this before" she said but rather than answering her , Lanre pulled her to himself and forced a kiss on her. She resisted initially but then, she gave in. Doctors are fond of doing things like this with fellow colleagues. They could even do it in the lounge and come out again as if nothing happened.

“That’s a damn fist but I doubt it can cause anyone any damage.” “Do you need that transfer?” The doctor offered in form of threat and Dexter quickly voiced his consent. “Yes, actually. I think Will do a much better job than you and he would be happy to take me in.” Doctor Romano let out a loud boisterous laugh as he inspected Dexter’s eyes. “I don’t mean to brag but that boy has nothing on me. I was his senior in medical school and I’ve made a name for myself,” he gestured around him at the room and ultimately, the hospital. “Isn’t he yet to open his own practice in a good ten years or so?" the way in which he had just spoken and the look on his face were two parallel things.

Romeo snarled and growled at the doctor. "Romeo, please," I pleaded and Romeo's yellow eyes looked at me before he let out a huff. He suddenly stopped growling and laid still. "I can tell that you're close," the doctor commented as he looked up at me and for the first time I felt tall even though I knew I was pretty short. I laughed, "something like that and the funny thing is, I haven't known him for a long time. It's been less than a week but we've bonded a lot."

Irene I rolled my eyes and turned back to the cheap counter of my kitchen. "You are infuriating." I muttered as a fresh wave of heat crept up my neck. As I reached up to grab the half-empty bottle of cheap whiskey I kept for emergencies, I could feel Romeo's gaze tracking my every move. But I forced myself not to care. "I am a doctor." He corrected smoothly from the doorway. "Patience and precision are my specialties."
