The Devil's Vow #2: The Viel of Vengeance

The Devil's Vow #2: The Viel of Vengeance

“I know.” We pushed forward, stepping over the fallen bodies of our would-be assassins. The traitor had planned this well—too well. I had underestimated how deep the betrayal ran, and now we were paying the price. Bullets had stopped flying, but the silence felt even more We were hunting.

OWNED BY THE MAFIA BOSS

OWNED BY THE MAFIA BOSS

My men secured the remaining household staff and guards, forcing them to their knees, no one dared to speak, no one dared to move. The message had been clear, Antonio Romano had come for blood, and blood had been spilled, but now, my attention was on one person. The woman standing in the doorway, her chest rising and falling in rapid breaths, her dark eyes flickering with anger, calculation, and something I couldn't quite name. She moved with a lethal grace that even in the chaos that transpired at the restaurant, had caught my attention. Most assassins were clumsy, driven by desperation or a paycheck.

Over my dead body...or yours.

Over my dead body...or yours.

I ran across the room towards the left as Ace ran towards the right, our guns firing with deadly precision as we took out most of the men. Alice and Romano shot from behind the couch, the assassins focusing their fire on Ace and myself. Within a few minutes, the room was cleared, leaving behind only smoke in the air and bodies on the ground. I walked over to one of the dead attackers and examined him. I bent down, and ripped his shirt open to see his Russian brand on his chest. “Fuckers.” I said as I stood up. “Angel, are you alright?” Ace said as he walked towards me and put his inked hand on my shoulder. I shook his hand off as I scowled at him, and walked over to Alice and Romano, Ace fol

THE REINCARNATION OF THE ASSASSINATED HEIRESS.

THE REINCARNATION OF THE ASSASSINATED HEIRESS.

Mason asked as he rolled down the window. “A card, sir,” one of the men said, and rushed to him with the card. Mason collected it and then removed the ribbon that it was wrapped with. He removed the card inside, and his eyes squinted as he read the boldly written message. “What is that?” Lyra asked. Before he could turn it away from her, she read it and then screamed. “Fuck!” It was a bloody engraved letter which went thus, “I will kill you, and that wife of yours.”

CHASING MONSTERS

CHASING MONSTERS

“They move in shadows. They never fail. By the time anyone knows they’re there, it’s already done.” His words sent heat straight through me, danger and lust winding together until I was dizzy. When his mouth covered mine, I let the hunger spill, my body arching against him. His hands were rough, pulling silk up my thighs. I gasped as he lifted me, and in moments we were tangled in sheets, his breath hot at my throat. Forbidden. Reckless. Perfect. The Assassins Shadows lengthened with the late sun. Three of them moved, soundless, their steps swallowed by the shadow, only silence.

Love and Shadows

Love and Shadows

I can't lie—I'm also a bit distracted and find my eyes going to his dick a couple of times that shoots up between his thighs, hard and erect due to our proximity and nakedness. "I have not found out anything about her specifically," I tell him, "but I do know some things about a network of assassins in the area around here, and I have a couple of suspects already," I tell him simply. He looks a little excited. I don't know whether it's because he thinks he'll see her again or he is happy that he'd finally get free from the threat of her. I decide to leave that aside for a while before asking him, "What exactly do you want with her?"

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

“This is the only piece of truth you spoke in weeks.” He grabs her arm and glares at her. “Who are you?” he demands. “You are not an omega, are you?” Anna pushes him away and stands up. “I read books because I am an assassin and it is my job to hide myself in the midst of my victims’ social circles!” She reasons. “I merely happened to stumble upon the book in one of my many assassinations and it is the last book I read before I was blinded.” Lavi also stands up, not convinced with her logic.

A wonderful companion to it’s predecesor. The story is a fantasy dark romance but in a good way. It’s done so well even Shakespeare would approve lol it’s full of hate love and adventure. Watch out Lord of the rings you have competition with this wonderful writer.

The Luna's Rejected Assassin

The Luna's Rejected Assassin

How can someone who murders a person be capable of the greatest skill of all, healing? Lucien, I need to remember his name instead of just ‘the assassin’ softly knocking on the door late into the night. I sent Kyra to deal with him but even I had to admit he looked immaculate in a crisp white shirt. He was wearing one of Alexanders, but it was stretched to the max over his wider shoulders and muscles.

This book follows from “The Banished Alpha” and I love how it continues from those previous events but in new perspectives. It’s a wonderful book about redemption, moving forward and love. Bella had such an amazing character growth that felt relatable and honest. And I just adore grumpy Lucien!

This story was so different and realistic, it is one of the few books I read right to the end without skipping pages or chapters, a “feel good” story of a hero and heroine who were not alphas I highly recommend this book and I hope you write stories about their child/children Congratulations ...

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

It was scorching like a flame and if auras could be tasted, hers would definitely be bitter. I shuddered, walking over to the first aisle to check it out. The first book that caught my attention was Blood, Pawns and Obsession. It was a dark romance by Rylie Martin. I had one of my projects on hold because I wanted to read this book and get into the head of the psychotic male lead, so I would understand him better and be able to execute my plotline to my taste. The grin on my face unconsciously widened, and I brought the book to my nose, sniffing it in.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

As Ishir shifts back to his human form, I help him sit up and Cedric gives him some water. When he relaxes and I see his body begin to heal itself, I look at him. “Did you see the person? Did you see the assassin?” I snarl. If they went after Ishir, they are dead. I'll kill them. He looks at me, sadness in his eyes. “It’s Zephyr, Avani. She’s the assassin.” The end. This story will continue in Book 3: The Assassin coming late May, early June.

N.Savage
This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.
