Romance Fairy Tales Novels & Stories

No matter how good a dream is, we always have to snap back from it. All fairy tales usually have a happy ending, the prince saves the princess from an ogre, a knight in shining armor saves a lady from a hulky brute of a man and so forth. But the world lies, that is not what always happens. Fairy tales rarely have a happy ending. The prince will save the princess and trip down some stairs, fall down and break his neck. Or the lady will live for a few years as a wife to the night and die from child birth. The story tellers never give the actual tale, the sell what appeases to the eye and heart.

Children play knights and princesses at corners of the kingdom, mimicking the victorious feat of the army. Tea houses packed with visitors as the storytellers tell the romance of the guard and the queen, and how they conquered the trials that came between them even when they were worlds apart, and yet they still go against the tide of fate to be together in the end. Telling the tale of romance that one could only imagine. A romance that seemed to be woven from the great minds of the greatest storytellers in the kingdom. With youngsters listening to the tale, looking out of the store’s windows to gaze at the towering walls of the palace and the infrastructure behind the solid wall. Imagining

Happily ever after is overrated. “No I’m not, Cinderella has a step-mother who is wicked and 2 step-sisters and I don’t have any. Besides, Cinderella’s life changed when she married her prince charming. My life is not like hers… it’s just messed up, fairy tales like that do not happen in this lifetime already.” I said as I laugh at the idea of it. He smiles and faces me with this uncertain expression on his face. “I am glad to see you laughing now. You seem to be so down and... you might be right, but will I- will we ever going to see you again?” he said.

I opened a notebook and wrote: Do not react immediately. Reaction gives power away. I leaned back in my chair and stared at the ceiling. Back in the orphanage, reacting had been survival. If you didn’t speak up fast, you lost your chance. Your food. Your bed. Your moment. Here, it was the opposite. I spent the afternoon watching old films. Not the flashy ones. The quiet ones. Stories about houses like this. Big estates. Cold rooms. Families where love was measured in rules. In one movie, a young woman married into a powerful family. She didn’t fight them. She didn’t beg.

Pretending to be more of a princess than she is so that the council won't become suspicious. Luckily, Salila didn't go back home after my own council meeting. Roxanne may be getting a crash course on the fairy way from mom and dad, but she's learning how to pretend to be prim and proper remotely from Salila. There's so much that I want to tell Roxanne. About Brigid and the lies the princesses are taught to believe when growing up. How the female fairies used to be fighters, but the council used an unfortunate event to gain control. How she thinks she's only pregnant with one baby, but is going to give birth to four. The last one is Cerulean's responsibility to tell her, not mine!

Joel merely chuckled, trying to win her over, and lightly patted Primrose's back before responding. "You said the content of the story didn't matter, right? Besides, fairy tales are products of imagination." Primrose continued to listen reluctantly, her eyes closed. The plot was beyond her imagination, causing her to turn her gaze toward Joel with a mixture of surprise and disbelief. "So, the young princess had to do chores like a servant under the rule of the stepmother, who was in charge of the kingdom. She had to do laundry and clean the house, and she was no longer allowed to wear beautiful clothes. Even during lavish balls, she wasn't allowed to participate and had to stay alone in her

The Enchanted Realm's magic, once distant and ethereal, now courses through their veins, a vibrant current that ignites their very essence. With every page turned and every scroll unraveled, the lines between their world and the hero's narrative begin to blur, merging into a mesmerizing mosaic of fate. The Enchanted Realm's history melds with the new character's present, like paint on an artist's canvas, blending colors and stories to form a tapestry that defies the boundaries of time and space. The past and the present intermingle, their stories interwoven in a symphony that carries the echoes of forgotten ages.

"What?" Cynthia blushed instantly, raised her hand to her hair, and said, "I'm long past the age of love at first sight. How can I fall in love with someone so easily? Besides, I...I’m just an ordinary worker bee and he’s the son of the richest man in the city. Do I have even the slightest possibility with him? Cinderella and the Prince falling in love could only happen in a fairy tale. There's even a song that says ‘Fairy tales are all lies…’” "Sigh...yeah, in real life, Cinderella and the Prince, aren’t supposed to get together, are they?"

"Mad? Yes I was mad at you at first but now i'm very glad, you know when Rodolfo told me about a new fairy to be reborn years ago I doubted it and didn't believe him, who new she would land right into my kingdom? You've just solved half of the problems glitz land has! With the help of a fairy the twin heavenly twin swords can be re discourvered and the immortal realm can be re opened!" The kings said in excitement. "And why are you so quick to conclude that she is indeed a fairy?" Gagé asked his father with uneasyness. "It is clearly written in the book of records, Inly a fairy has the ability to have purple coloured hair, and other magical powers, so i'm sure we are not wrong now are we?"

"Let me tell you a story, sweetheart." "Once upon a time, there was a princess called Karina who had been locked up in a mystical tower her whole life by the fairies. You see, the fairies stole her when she was a baby. The fairies said she was too beautiful to be shown to the world, you know as beautiful as you," he pinched her cheek which made the girl giggle before he continued.
