“I’m looking for some books for my fiancée, but I’m not sure what she likes to read.” The sales assistant tilted her head thoughtfully. “Well, we have a wide variety. Perhaps I can suggest some classic novels? They’re always a safe choice.” Jack nodded, feeling a little more confident. “That sounds like a good idea. Can you show me some?” The sales assistant led Jack to a shelf filled with novels from different eras and styles. “Here are some classics,” she said, picking up a volume. “This is ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen. It’s a love story that many women adore.”

I asked curiously. My eyes focused on the title and front cover of the novels that he had handed to me before my eyes zoomed in on one in particular. The novel was a famous romance. I knew the title and roughly what it was about because I’ve seen reviews of it online, but it just didn’t seem like the type of book that I expected Reiner would read…or know about… “Not really, the saleswoman at the bookstore recommended this one when I asked…” Reiner confessed with a grin.

My shoulders sagged and I growled softly in mortification. "I know nothing about love, Arram. I've been alone for centuries. How does one woo someone," I questioned him curiously and he snapped his fingers and handed me a stack of books. He told me to read them. I looked at the spines for titles, Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights and The Notebook.

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different. I want to know what other books you are reading/recommend, specifically on GoodNovel (I'll ask about other apps next challege). I'm currently reading Hatred with Benefits (updated daily) and love it. “The novel’s title is Shocking Shocked, and it tells the story of a guy who was electrocuted after disclosing shocking news?” I bit the bottom of my lip. “Well... It’s one of my favorite novels.” She slapped herself across the forehead. “Dainty! We should not read novels like these. I assumed you were interested in romantic novels, so I let you read books, and then I’ll know that you’re reading about terror and murder novels?!” My mouth was closed. What can I do if I’m not a fan of romance novels? Horror, mystery, and psychological stories are my favorite, and not romance. When I read a romantic novel, my whole body convulses. They simply do not appeal to me.

"Whatever happened to love each other first then... then doing the deed after. Is everyone after physical contact only these days? What about getting to know each other first? Chivalry? Romantic date?" I sighed and stopped spinning, facing my laptop and visiting a bookstore's site to see what books sell. Ah, of course, my book wouldn't be in the top 10, and I didn't hope so; what's staring back at me is the top 10 best-selling books for the week, where five of ten are Erotic Romance books. "And I thought my company wouldn't be like other companies who are after profit; I was wrong. Then again, business is business."
