CONQUERED

CONQUERED

"That is good then. Just make dinner for me and run my bath, I am retiring early to bed today." "Okay ma" After eating and having my bath, I am on my bed reading a Americanah, an African themed novel by an African author, called Chimamanda Adichie, suddenly I remember what Nelly said to me at the restaurant but I just bluff it. My phone rings, I check the caller ID, it shows Alyssa with a heart emoji after the name. "Why is this smallie calling me?" I pick up the phone call. "Woman, what do you want?" I playfully ask her.

He knew all the other men watching him envied him. But for the life of him, he couldn't muster any enthusiasm for the act. Instead of finding her perfume enticing, he found it cloying. The smoke from the cigars made him feel suffocated.

Abducting The Mafia Romance Author

Abducting The Mafia Romance Author

Here are a few things to put you at ease (mainly confusions and insights). Moreover, the beginning chapters are longer to keep you hooked and to let you decide easily. • Insights: 1) This is a mafia, billionaire romance. But definitely the author is not playing with cliche of abducting and falling in love with the kidnapper. 2) There is no Stockholm syndrome or rape at all, personally I don't like writing it. The female protagonist won't be forced to do anything.

The Wolf’s Fate

The Wolf’s Fate

I had to talk some sense into Zaire, and hopefully it helped. Author Note: This will be my last author note until the end, which is close. Just wanted to know if you guys are enjoying this story. I usually write contemporary romance and this just like A delicate taste is out of my comfort zone, and it’s my first time writing a wolf story. It would mean the world to me if you would rate and review so I know what you all think so far. Thank you so much for the support.

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.

This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!

Sinful Attraction

Sinful Attraction

Because Arabella Rose Hamilton had somehow followed him home inside his thoughts. Again. He poured himself a drink and moved toward the tall windows overlooking the darkening hills of Craneford. Rain threatened in the distance. The countryside was calm. But Edwin’s mind was anything but. He still remembered the sight of her standing outside the bookstore earlier that afternoon. Soft curls moving gently in the wind. Pink cheeks. Wide startled eyes. Beautiful. The word returned relentlessly now. Not the polished beauty London praised so endlessly. Arabella possessed something warmer. Real. She looked like candlelight on winter evenings.

Craving Lust: A Spicy Romance Collection

Craving Lust: A Spicy Romance Collection

No, this was the rush I lived for. I uncrossed my legs slowly, letting my short skirt ride up my thighs a bit as I sat forward, my full breasts pressing against my blouse. My nipples were already hard, rubbing against the lace of my bra. I smiled at him, bold as ever. “Because it’s exactly that, Dr. Black. The character isn’t surrendering out of love. She’s wet for the control, the way he pins her down with words and authority before he even touches her. It’s raw. It’s filthy. And pretending it’s just intellectual is bullshit. Don’t you think?”

New Romance in Marriage

New Romance in Marriage

Was it from a novel Paige had read before? "What? Do you also think I'm right?" Chris asked with a smile. Paige refuted, "You should read fewer messy novels." Who would have thought that someone like Chris, a CEO, actually liked reading all sorts of romance novels? Did he ever imagine himself in those novels, fantasizing about being the male lead? Chris said, "I don't read any messy novels. I read the painstaking works of the authors." Paige was at a loss for words. Did she also not read the authors' painstaking works? Such double standards.

Accidentally In Love with My Best Friend’s Brother

Accidentally In Love with My Best Friend’s Brother

"Ms. Black, it's been two years since you wrote a bestseller and no offense, but your romance novels are no longer drawing the attention of your audience." Why do people say "no offense" when what they're about to say is going to offend the fuck out of you? My face contorts with hurt and confusion. "So what you're saying is...my books are...boring?" He clears his throat, gazing out the window of his office. "Look Kiara, your audience is looking for spice. The spicier, the better. Your latest manuscript has not one explicit scene in it, it might as well be YA," he continues, "I'm sorry, but no one is willing to publish it."
