The whole house was boring and the atmosphere was gloomy, I decided to go into the study, when I was in there with Damon I could recall seeing romance novels on the bookshelf. I am a true lover of romantic novels, they get your spirit high with the sexiness of the male lead and gracefulness of the female but one thing that lacks in all romantic plot is that all are the same, there hasn't been anything new but who cares...... While I checked the bookshelf I notice a couple of erotic novels in there, you should know that I am very happy.

Alexander gasped, his eyes widening at the book. I laughed hard at his expression. He looked so shocked. How cute. "Why is there so much going on?" Alexander asked another stunned expression appearing on his face. "It's amazing, right?" I chuckled, my eyes not leaving his face. "I can't believe you chose to read this. Why would a chapter start with someone sticking a knife into another person's privates? This is too insane!" Alexander gasped. The more he complained, the more humorous the situation got. "This is what makes it a dark romance. Now, I feel more excited to read it," I said with a grin.

This time dressed in short yellow dress with flower patterns. "How do I look?" She asked and I almost couldn't stop myself from staring at her.

My body temperature was rising, a primitive need beginning to take control. I grabbed the bottom of his t-shirt, pulling it up over his head. He wiggled out of it, tossing it to the side as I ran my fingers down his front. His muscles hardened under my hand as he kissed my shoulders and neck. He nuzzled the strap of my tank top, pushing it until my shoulder lay exposed in the moonlight. He bit it gently, sending a thrill through me. His hand crept up the soft fabric, cupping my breast in his palm through the thin material. My nipple beaded into a tight point as his fingertips caught it, and he let out a chuckle.

“You almost took me out there.” She blinked, then let out a faint breath, crouching as well to gather the rest. “Sorry. I didn’t see you.” “That much is obvious,” I said, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of my mouth. I picked up another book, my eyes catching on the pastel-colored cover. I turned it so I could read the title. “‘Kisses in the Rain,’” I read aloud, raising a brow. “So, you have a killer taste. Romcoms, huh?”

Then I called Rose and asked her to bring me a glass of juice. She came in minutes later, smiling softly as she handed me the glass. I gave her a quiet thank you before turning back to my book. The pages pulled me in fast. It was a romance novel, and God—the tension in it was so high, I felt like I was living through every line. The characters were aching for each other, and I don’t know... maybe it was the way the words danced, or maybe it was just the loneliness creeping back in—but I found myself wishing I was the girl in the story.
