She’s not supposed to spend the night in my chamber but I can’t seem to let her go and it’s not a good sign,at least not for a king. A knock came through the door as Lord James walked in with a smirk on his face. “I knew you’d be busy but I thought it’ll be with Lady Katherine” he said, taking his seat in front of the fireplace.

They clinked glasses to that. They started eating while discussing books they've read, their favorite authors, movie adaptations, and everything else other than their tragic love life. After dinner, they sat in the living room area with their book of choice, and spend comfortable silence together. Commenting on what they were reading once in a while, and went back to it right after. He really did read a romance novel. He read only selected few, he said. But nonetheless, he was reading it. Julie never came across a guy who reads as much as she does, a romance novel especially.

After the meeting, Damien approached her near the elevator. "You're welcome," he said in a straightforward manner. "You got me into that room," she said, trying to mask her surprise. "I simply opened the door. You kept it open," he replied. There was a pause in the conversation. "You're being unusually kind for someone who kissed me in public and then disappeared," she said, a mix of hurt and curiosity shading her words. His expression remained unchanged. "We shared a contract, not a romance." Her chest tightened at his words. "Right. Of course," she said, her voice barely hiding the sting of his words.

“Let me teach you a few positions that make it easier to get pregnant. First, you do this, and then…” Annette’s face turned bright red as she listened, her wide eyes glistening with a mixture of embarrassment and fascination. She nodded absentmindedly, clearly overwhelmed. After sharing her “tips,” Rachel told Annette to take a shower, saying she’d help her with makeup once she was back so they could head out for Annette’s debut as a “lucky charm.” While they were busy, I used the downtime to post a question on the university’s online forum: "Urgent! My roommate is selling herself and dragging another roommate into it. What should I do?"

"Avis, could you grab my body wash? It’s on my desk. I'm busy showering; I can't go over to get it." On the balcony, my roommate, Linda Lowe, was indulging in her cold shower, basking in the sunlight streaming through the windows. Our dorm wasn’t on a high floor, and anyone passing below could easily glance up to enjoy the view. But Linda didn’t care. Far from it—she seemed to revel in it, swaying her body with exaggerated movements as though she couldn’t wait to flaunt herself.

I said flatly, keeping my eyes on the documents. “A space away from disturbances…hmm,” he didn't seem to believe me. “You've never been the type to tolerate people, so why would you even have a roommate? And why are you keeping them away from me?” “My choice to have a roommate is solely my business. Also, you have a loud mouth,” I answered. I don't even know why I bothered with him honestly. “I'm just saying, because the Lorcan I know doesn't share kitchen appliances unless there's a very good reason. Is the roommate at least easy on the eyes?" He bounced his brows like the idiot he was.

Books stacked on the counter, a plant Sophie had given her that was surviving against all odds, her mother's old ceramic fruit bowl sitting empty because she kept forgetting to buy fruit. He looked around her apartment with quiet attention. "What?" she asked. "It looks like you." "Is that good or bad?" "It's exactly right." He picked up his fork. "You have three books on that counter with the spines cracked the same way." "I reread things." "Which ones?" She hesitated. "Don't laugh." "I won't laugh." "Two romance novels and a book on event management theory." He looked at her steadily. No laugh. "Which romance novels?"

The bedroom was dimly lit by a single lamp on the nightstand, casting warm shadows across the rumpled sheets. Zayden and Aaron were already tangled together on the edge of the bed, their mouths fused in a deep, hungry kiss. Aaron’s hands gripped the back of Zayden’s neck, pulling him closer as their tongues slid hotly against each other, tasting and teasing. Zayden groaned softly into Aaron’s mouth, his fingers digging into Aaron’s hips, pressing their bodies flush.

I said. "Better." She yawned again. "Good night." I mumbled, climbing down the bed as I made my way to the door. When I went back to my room to refresh, Bennett was already inside. His head on my pillow as he read my book? "So these are what girls read whenever they are horny?" He asked, shaking his head. "Please don't read that." I begged. "Porn?" "It's not porn." I glared at him.. "It's Romance." I said, walking to the bed and grabbing the book out of his hands.

I opened the drawer to next to his desk and found a whole lot of girl under clothes. A whole load of bras and panties! He might as well start his own business with all of them. I ignored the dirty thoughts I was having and went over to his bookshelf which was filled with books. I went over to it and looked at the books. I was expecting mafia books and about guns and fighting but I found romance novels, fantasy and comedy books. I was really surprised. I shrugged and pulled a book from off the shelf. It was a romance novel called "Last Breath". I didn't have books in my room and I loved reading so I sat cross legged in the middle of the room and read.
