Roommates With Benefits Novels & Stories

“Me?....A target?.I’m a barista who sometimes pulls all-nighters to finish psych papers. Who the hell am I a target to?” “That’s a longer conversation,” he said smoothly. “But for now, all you need to know is that you’re going to be staying here. With me.” I blinked. “Excuse me?” “You’re not a prisoner,” he repeated, slowly this time, like I was a child. “We’re roommates. You can think of this as me doing you a favor. Temporary protection, if you will.” “And if I don’t want it?” His gaze hardened. “That’s not really an option.”

"Not really, only five places, including this apartment! this apartment is by far the best!" "Is that so? earlier, the man said there was an empty apartment with three bedrooms. If you don't mind, how about we share a room?" "What? share a room? with you?" ***

“Are we ready for that?” I smiled in understanding. “I can have Joyce’s room if you prefer. Be roommates with benefits. But if you’re wondering how I feel about it, yes, I’m ready. The thought of living with you, waking up with you every day, relaxing on the sofa, and knowing I don’t have to leave and go home to an empty bed or a bunch of idiots who just ordered pizza and plan on sitting up all night playing a new game they discovered? I love it.”

Will comes around the corner, pulling off his shirt. “What's for dinner?” he asks, wiping his sweaty forehead with his workout jersey. I don’t answer, but he doesn’t expect me to. Will isn’t my favorite person, and he knows it. When I realized he was the other roommate, I nearly left, but I need this place. Since the rent is divided, it’s one third cheaper because of Will—now one fourth because of Adam’s sister. Thank God. Working these double shifts at the garage is killing me. “Nothing, man, I need to talk to you real quick,” Adam says, waving him in.

I'm not interested in the family business, mom and dad knows this but they don't mind, they still support my dream and for that I'm grateful. Betsy and I have identical honey-brown hair and height, looking at our backside sometimes you can mistake one of us for the other. She became my roommate last year after mom and dad finally allowed me to move out to my own place but with the condition that my bodyguards also live with me in the same apartment. She agreed to live with me only if I let her pay a monthly rent. Typically Betsy.

He’s studying me. “Are you attached to this apartment?” The question hits me off guard. “No,” I say too quickly, too easily. Then I think of Roofus—his instant noodles, his exams, the way he pretends not to worry about money when I know he does. “…Not really,” I amend. “But my roommate kind of needs it.” “Roommate,” Damien repeats. His jaw tightens, just a fraction. “Roofus,” I admit. Honesty seems to be my undoing tonight. “He’s in college. Even with the rent cut, he wouldn’t be able to manage on his own.”

"In no dimension on this earth do you look fifty-five. Even with makeup." "I could educate the residents about the benefits of moisturizing." "Don't worry. We'll find a place." After an extensive internet search, I've located an apartment complex that would let two non-relatives live together. The rent is affordable and the deposit something we can piece together in time. The only downside is location.

He squinted his eyes like one that was curious as he leaned in closer to me. I did not move, rather I kept my eyes fixated on him, shooting him glares. He cleared his throat and relaxed back in his chair. "The paycheck is quite huge, you get to stay in an official apartment and you get transported to work everyday by an official van alongside other team members." He replied. Alluring, it was. But for the benefits to be this huge, it had to be one tedious job. Who cared? It was not like I had any other thing done by the way.

Clicking the pen, I start writing the section he wanted. “Who’s Mexi?” Smirking, I continue finishing writing the revision that I had added; *in the condition that she and Mexi would be staying with him. “My roommate.” He frowned almost immediately, “I can’t provide for you and your roommate, Violet. You’re going to make me poor.” “Don’t worry,” I tell him. “You won’t even notice that she’s there.” “You better make sure because I swear if I notice even a small dip on my finances-“
