End of flashback~ Present time "ROSA!!" "ROSA!!!" "ROSALINE!!!!!" Rosaline turned around only to see Antonio standing at the doorway staring her. His eyes widened as soon his saw her tear-stricken face. He rushed to her and cupped her face. "Oh God- What happened? What are you crying?" Rosaline looked at him sadly. Feeling wetness on her cheeks she realised that she has been crying for so long. She couldn't hold her pain any longer and crashed in his arms while sobbing loudly.

Remembering all this, Rosalina picks up the vase on the table and throws it away and screams that all her hard work and sacrifices will turn into dust if she doesn't find a solution for Eva. Lily comes into her room due to the vase breaking and suddenly a piece pricks her leg, she screams in pain and Rosalina rushes towards her, “what are you doing here?, you shouldn't have been here” she said little harshly, “I heard the voice, Mom, are you okay?”

“What are you doing?” Rosa turned, tears streaming down her face. “I can’t live with it anymore, my queen. Her lies, my sins… I destroyed everything that ever loved me.” “You didn’t destroy anything,” Daphne pleaded, stepping closer. “You were deceived, like the rest of us. You can still make this right. Let me help you.” But Rosa shook her head, sobbing. “You don’t understand… I see her every night. She whispers to me from the dark. I can’t silence her anymore.”

“Take him away.” The guards immediately grabbed Adrian and pulled him back. He jerked against their hold, his eyes snapping toward me. For a brief second, something cracked through the rage. Vulnerability. Humiliation. Then it vanished just as quickly, replaced by bitterness so sharp it almost felt alive. His glare locked onto mine. But I held it without flinching. A quiet sob suddenly pulled my attention away. My head snapped toward the sound. Rosaline. I hadn’t even noticed her since arriving here yesterday. She sat stiffly beside her mother, tears slipping down her face as the former Luna rubbed her shoulder softly, trying to console her.

And the lights come back just at the moment, leaving me all flustered. A very broken, tired, injured, and tremendously scared Rosalina is standing a few steps away from me. I take her in with my eyes as I try to study the situation. Her eyes are red, her cheeks are stained with tears, and her feet are bleeding. Before I could ask her anything, she ran down the stairs as she almost hopped on me, her tiny hands wrapping around my neck, hugging me as her almost lifeless body held on to me with all her might Her feet tiptoeing on my shoes as she starts to whimper and shake uncontrollably.

I don’t dwell it on much though because the screams became louder, and the amount of shuffling feet were loud enough that I felt like the whole palace was experiencing an earthquake. I force myself up and go towards the window overlooking the maze, my mind still hazy. Yawning, I look down. I don’t see it right away, my focus was still on the people running to and from the house. I could see Karina, tears running down her face, she was shaking. My mind still not waking up, I frown confused. Why was she crying?

“Please.” I could feel his breath on my cheek, and that forced me to turn his way so that our eyes locked together a third time. “Ollie… It’s me. It’s Jess,” I whispered. A second passed by where he searched my face, and recognition finally flared in the depths of his eyes. Then came fear — the realization of what he was doing — and then Ollie was gone. And the weight of him, both physically and figuratively, was suddenly off me, and that’s when I began to cry.

Just like me, all he could do was listen to the cries. He fought to break through, throwing himself at the barrier like a wild animal, but it was useless. Eventually, he sank to the ground, defeated. On his knees, head bowed, his tears hit the cold stone like raindrops. Over and over, he whispered my names— "Wendy…" "Rose…" For a long time, I couldn't tell who he was grieving for. Wendy? Or Rose? A low rumble of thunder rolled across the sky. Then the clouds broke. Rain poured down in torrents.

It felt like a hand was squeezing my heart, tighter and tighter, until I could hardly breathe. When he saw the tears welling in my eyes, he frowned. "I don't like it when women act like this." My heart dropped. George hated crying. He thought it was just a trick women used to get sympathy. Impatience sharpened his tone. "Enough. It's just seduction. Who are you putting on a show for?" I bit down hard on my lip, tasting blood, and forced the tears back. My voice came out dry and scraped raw. "Okay."
