ROSES ON FIRE

ROSES ON FIRE

Only those many years had saved him from death. “I brought... the roses... sir...” he said fearfully, and it only took one glare to understand that he had to leave them on the table and get the hell out. I watched them for a long time. Red as blood and perfumed like the scent of a lusty woman. That was when I took out the lighter and lit one of them, watching it burn to ashes, dying before my eyes. I was so damn pleased to see its petals burn and fall off the bulb. Then I lit another one, and the feeling was even more exhilarating. Like I had the power of life and death.

CHAMPAGNE

CHAMPAGNE

Champagne stared at Samantha and then lowered her eyes, her lips set in a straight line. "I don't want to drug you in to this Samantha, you may get hurt and I won't be able to bare that " "But I may be able to help.. " Champagne stared at her best friend who was trying to convince her. She pondered on how to let her down easily. The was another knock on the door and Champagne's eyes snapped up locking with Samantha's. She wondered who could it be at this hour. Champagne walked out of the kitchen towards the door and unlocked it, there was no one specific but a box of chocolates and a bunch of roses.

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

It looked beautiful but somehow it also showed more cleavage much to my liking. Diana had already applied her makeup when I was trying the dresses so we were almost ready now. “A glass of champagne before we go?” “Please.” She murmur far too quickly. She is nervous, which was completely normal. I handed her a champagne flute. “You look lovely, Diana. Cheers.” I raised my glass and she clinks it with mine. “You too.” The champagne was a pale rose colour. It tastes deliciously crisp and light and for some reason I remembered the drink I had on my date with Reed. That was the best drink I had ever tasted.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

“Champagne for our beautiful friends here. A bottle… Dom Perignon Brut Rosé, if you have.” The bartender gives me a nod of recognition. That should stall the three new lovebirds long enough for me to get help. I wait long enough for the bucket to come out. The bartender pours glasses for the girls and Jasper. He isn’t paying attention when he puts the glass to his lips, but I snatch it away before a drop can fall. “Bro!” Jasper looks at me, annoyed.

Another amazing book! LOVED the cameos from the other characters in the series. Advice to 1st time readers: this is the 3rd book in publication order but 4th in the current time line. Read Luna of the Manae 1st to see the connections, and beware of spoilers within the comments of each chapter.

What an absolutely fabulous book. It had me totally mesmerized and I could not put it down. Unfortunately, I have read the book so fast that I have nothing else to replace it while you complete the Luna Manea book 🥹. I am going to have to reread both of your books while I wait. Love your story tel.

Champagne And Chaos

Champagne And Chaos

A massive arrangement of white roses occupied the dining table, while several unopened champagne bottles stood beside it like witnesses refusing to testify. I looked around. "You still have wedding flowers." "I have twelve hundred dollars worth of flowers that I refuse to throw away because apparently flowers are now part of my emotional support system." "Fair." Bianca walked toward the kitchen. I followed. She opened the refrigerator. "Coffee?" "Please." "Strong?" "Stronger than Ethan's refusal to answer questions." She paused. Then slowly looked over her shoulder. "That bad?" I leaned against the counter. "Much worse." Something in my voice must have changed because Bianca's expression sof

COUNTER MEASURES

COUNTER MEASURES

I said. * The Annexe wasn’t empty but there was a spare table by the window, directly beneath a distorted loudspeaker playing a collection of sentimental love songs. Kimberley removed her brown leather shoulder-bag and laid it under her chair. “Something to drink?” Our waiter asked. “Shall we share a bottle of wine?” Kimberley asked. “Why not,” I agreed and quickly ordered a bottle of Raso De La Cruz. A vibrant and fruity rose from the sun-kissed vineyards Cannena in northeast Spain, or so the wine list said.

The Billionaire And His Triplets

The Billionaire And His Triplets

They were all smiling as she approached them while some of them were assisting the waiters in the garden. When Rhezi arrived at the liquor area, she indulged herself to watch the wide array of liquors displayed. It was her father's collection; from scotch, brandy, whiskey, and even her favorite drink, champagne. The woman trailed her fingertips on the drinks before she reached for the one she picked. It was Dom Perignon Rose Gold, one of the most expensive liquors.

The Returned Luna

The Returned Luna

Adolph took note, “Why?” “Because of how much the Rosa multiflora, mahoe, and the winter daphne resemble the oleander flower,” she said seriously. “It would be like wishing doom upon the wedding to use any of them and they’re staples in most varieties of petal jams! They aren’t used in any jam eaten at a wedding as far as I know.”

Bound To The Billionaire

Bound To The Billionaire

I mused, my eyes flitting around the expanse of the car. Alex shifted towards the refrigerator, and he opened it, bringing out a bottle of champagne. “What do you think about a celebratory drink?” “Sure.” I could never say no to champagne, especially Dom Pérignon. He brought out the flutes and poured a considerable amount, passing one to me, and he raised his flute. “To Ruby, and being ever young.” Now that was a toast I liked, “to being ever young.” I said, raising my flute up for an air cling, and I drank it in a go.

Revenge Of My Four Alpha Mates

Revenge Of My Four Alpha Mates

Rosa is so important to our family, and as much as we have included her in our life, she takes her role seriously, never once stepping out of place. Sparkling wine is poured into our crystal glasses, the bubbles popping as they rise to the surface. Softer chatter flitters down the table along with the clatter of cutlery. Caleb gives me a wink from the top of the table, and I wonder how much of this I can eat before he drops a bomb on everyone.
