Bunny interrogates us, and I scoff lightly. “What’s going on?” Zayn asks Harper’s mom. “Is that man dead?” He points at the body on the ground. “Y-yes,” She stutters in response as she and her daughter put down their hands. Gosh, if they did kill this man then this is going to be a long evening. Glancing at the sky, I can tell that it’s already dark. The moon is nowhere to be found and weary clouds float in the darkened sky. “I killed him,” Harper confesses and we all stare at her. Her eyes are crazy and her face is flushed from fear.

I just hope the Moon Goddess would guide me not to be as aggressive as I wished to be because seeing them together triggered my possessiveness. "What is it that you want to talk about, Jaxon?" Aliyah was the one who talked first. Glancing at me for a while, Jaxon started opening his mouth. Look at this mutt, he would talk around me after all. "Your brother, Shawn Harper died, Aliyah. Unfortunately, even though he's an Alpha and he has capabilities for fast healing, his body cannot keep up with the blood loss. Some of his organs are ruptured as well. That led him to death."

Harper said as she passed around the house in thoughts. She was looking like a slut, her outfit was worse than it used to be, who knows where she has been all this while that she came back in such a bitchy look. "Harper I don't just know!, I saw it online but they didn't give details of everything all they said was that she was dead and then the pictures" I said showing her the picture on my phone. "This is serious, I don't just know what to say I am speechless" Harper said emotionally as she held her head looking straight at nothing.

"Her body temperature matches the room. Pupils fixed and dilated. Full rigor in the limbs." He swallowed hard. "She's been dead for at least forty-eight hours." 'Forty-eight hours… Two days ago…' Ethan's breath caught. 'That meant Harper died the first night we took Chloe to the hospital. While we sat by Chloe's bed, peeling apples, telling jokes, and buying fireworks for her... Harper was already dead. 'When Patrick begged us to check on her, she was already dead. And when we called her a liar and accused her of putting on an act, Harper had already been dead for a long time.'

"Is… is he dead?" Serena asked, trembling as she pushed away from Harvey. Harvey's face showed a mix of doubt and hesitation as he cautiously approached. It was not until he placed his hand near Kane's nose and confirmed there was no breath that relief washed over his face. "He's dead. He's finally dead!" Harvey chuckled, his voice manic with joy. "This is it! The Weller family is mine now!" Laughing wildly, he became almost unhinged, waving his arms in celebration in front of Kane's lifeless body.

Heath’s eyes were filled with disgust as he glared at the German Mafia King who was casually scrolling down his phone as if nothing atrocious was happening in front of him. “What a disappointing piece of shit,” his man cursed after some minutes while zipping up his now soft flesh. Before Harvey could even plead for his life, he was shot dead. A loud thud followed the sharp hiss of the bullet. Harvey’s lifeless body was lying on the floor and the disastrous tape was now painted in blood.

“She liked talking to them as if they could listen. She was weird like that. She said the dead deserved company, too. But do you know what she didn’t deserve?” I blinked and shakily responded. “What?” Harper let out a quiet laugh. The sound held no real humor. “To die. She did not deserve to die. She was young… way too young to have lost her life and had her future cut short.” Harper stood again and shifted her gaze back to me. “It was all your bloody fault! So tell me… why now? Why, after all these years of hiding, have you finally decided to show your face here?” She asked.

He died in an instant. Then, Harvey kicked the body toward Manager York before showing a calm smile. “Take him and leave. No need to thank me. “It’s not worth mentioning anyway.”
