That's how fast my love for holidays had gone down the drain. Roxy dyed her hair back to its natural color, black. She said that the old her was gone and she didn't need to keep her hair blonde with pink ends. She actually looks more rogue with black hair, if you ask me. Her relationship with Kye is one that I admire alot. They've had fights over the years but they always sit down like adults and try to solve their issues. Ben, this is Aria and her boyfriend, Jude.” Ben smiled, a warm, genuine expression that reached his eyes. He was tall and lanky, with a painter’s smudge of blue paint on his cheek and kind eyes that were fixed solely on Roxy. “It’s great to finally meet you both,” he said, his voice calm and steady. “I’ve heard a lot.” His gaze then landed on Jude, and his smile widened. “Jude, right? Big fan. Watched your game against State. That throw in the fourth quarter was incredible.”

Afterward, Jamie, as if hearing the most absurd joke, sarcastically taunted, "Support you, Rose? Don't you have the Youngs? I thought you had truly become a Youngs' wife. But it seems you've forgotten one thing—you're a Shaffer, not a Young."
