Royal Academy Novels & Stories

"Let's go. To the academy." ... The academy stood in an independent courtyard far from the residential area. The buildings were not tall, but they covered a wide expanse. Ice walls enclosed the grounds, ensuring a quiet environment for study. Mimi stopped Bruce and said apologetically, "Prince, the academy is a private place where the Valeciels impart medical knowledge. Outsiders are not allowed to enter. I ask for your understanding." She glanced at Isolde, then back at Bruce, her tone sincere. "But please rest assured, Lady Isolde is only going in to study. It is completely safe. I stake my life on the guarantee that there will be no danger."

“-as a Royal, I have some advantages, and since I’m gifted and assist in the academy, I get more money than other people,” Lois used the entire trip to the academy to explain how things worked here, and I realised it was no different from being in the human world. This was their world, but it ran on the same basic rules. The Royal Academy was a lot more grand than I had imagined, and I stared at the black gates that stood between me and the several towers that were peeking out from behind them. When she finally parked the car in front of a medium-sized building, I couldn’t help the relief that rushed through me.

“And the Academy has always been mysterious, especially to American wolves. Only a handful have been invited to attend the prestigious school. It’s been around since the 1500s, Queen Fiona’s reign, I believe.” While America has the council, which follows the model of the United States congress, without a President, European wolves still follow royalty. Since it’s rare for wolves to leave and travel, we interact very little with packs across the pond. Lacking that knowledge might be detrimental later, but I am sure I’ll figure it out.

"8 prompts, the Academy restaurant. Wear anything, and I am looking forward to seeing you." "I'm not," I said, but I doubted he heard, or maybe he did and didn't care. "The Academy restaurant," Riley whispered. "That's the best spot on school grounds, Kelani. Shit, he's trying to take you to somewhere classy. What would he do if you agreed to be his?"

“It's no trouble. Is... is Malik okay?” Lucien chuckled, waving off my panic as he took a seat across from me. “He's perfectly fine, don't worry. Actually, he sent me here to deliver a message to you. He wanted me to inform you that you'll be officially joining the Imperial Academy in a week's time.” My entire brain short-circuited. My jaw literally dropped. “What?!” I stared at him like he had just spoken to me in a foreign language. The Imperial Academy? That was the most prestigious institution in the entire kingdom, reserved exclusively for the elite, the nobility, and the absolute brightest minds in the empire.

A cold knot formed in my stomach, tightening with each passing second as the meaning settled in. “The Royal Magic Academy will want to examine this,” he continued, his tone calm, as though what he was saying was already decided. The academy. The name alone carried weight. It was a place reserved for those born into power, for nobles and elites who had spent their lives preparing for it. People like me weren’t meant to stand within its walls, let alone be taken there under the watch of royal soldiers. “Do I have a choice?” I asked. For a brief moment, the corner of his mouth shifted slightly, not quite a smile, but close enough to make the answer clear before he spoke.

She whispered. "Thank you," I smiled at her before settling into my seat. "So, where were we?" The teacher’s voice rang through the room. "You were talking about the history of the Royal Academy, Miss Blake." A girl from the first row answered. "Yes... As you are going to spend three years in this Academy, learning various things and improving as individuals, it is important for you to know the very foundation of this institution." She looked around the classroom. "Does anyone here have knowledge of the history of the Royal Academy? When it was created and who created it?"

It was the Day of the Ritual, a tradition for every ruler of my bloodline to prove they are the strongest soul in the land. I ran a slow, casual hand through my hair. It was long and as white as a fresh snowfall, a shining symbol of my pure, royal blood. I knew I looked magnificent. I wore a simple silver tunic that was thin enough to show the muscle beneath, catching the rays of the sun like a mirror. "Our king is so beautiful!" "Asher is the strongest!" "He is prettier than all my daughters combined." I heard some of their talks The noise was like a physical wall of sound. Thousands and thousands of my subjects sat on the stone benches that rose so high they seemed to touch the clouds.

The academy had always believed itself untouchable. Neutral ground. Sacred ground. A bridge between realms. Its towers pierced the sky in elegant spires of white stone and silver glass. Defensive wards shimmering faintly across its perimeter, ancient enchantments designed to repel invasions. They had always been prepared for riots, or so they thought. For rogue factions. For political pressure. They had not prepared for Aldric. The academy’s full title was known formally as the Academy of Concordance Between Realms a name so long it was rarely spoken outside treaties. It had an history of raising most promising Weres and lycans

Between the mighty Hyperion Empire, the Grand Duchy of the North, and the Dukedom of Asterion stood a place unlike any other in the world—a place that bowed to no emperor, king, or noble house. It was the most prestigious institution on the continent. The Orion Academy. For centuries, the academy had remained independent, protected by ancient laws that even the rulers of the three great nations dared not challenge. Within its walls, bloodlines held no authority. Princes and princesses, dukes and commoners—all entered through the same gates and wore the same uniform.
