Under the Pale Moon

Under the Pale Moon

I didn't mean to come across that way, but I was tired and cranky. "I won't turn to dust, though I might burn harshly," Rakesh replied with a small smile to me. His skin was fairly pale, I noticed. I wondered if he had a skin condition. I knew there was one that some people had which caused them to easily burn in the sun, even with suncream. I sighed and gave an irritable look. He couldn't expect me to suddenly switch my body-clock. Though neither could I expect it of him, we would have to settle on some sort of compromise.

The Fate of the Wolf

The Fate of the Wolf

She tightened the collar of the robe, hiding her marks as much as possible. -I've seen you enough times to know what you have, in the barn you were even naked- Vladek rested his arm on the edge of the bathtub and on his hand, his head- We wolves have no problems with nudity. Rather we like it. We only dress them to go unnoticed by humans- -But my skin bothers you- Jade said seriously. Vladek stared her up and down. -What made you think that? - he released too calm exasperating her -Yes, it is strange when I touch your skin, the texture feels different, but if I have to say a word specifically for your skin I would say that it is beautiful- he searched for the right words.

The Luna from the Future

The Luna from the Future

It earned another grin from him. “I was just merely looking at your unblemished skin. How the hell does someone your age have skin as smooth and flawless as this one?” I said to salvage myself. He smiled. “My mother’s side has clear skin. I think it’s in their genes. Even when they grew old, their skin remained unblemished. Unlike my father’s side which has acne and birth marks. Thankfully, my mother’s side was stronger when it came to skin.” It brought a smile to my face, which erupted into laughter. Cassius smiled widely, looking satisfied with himself.

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

"You heard what father said. This is part of your training" Ron wanted to cry. "But sister, it's so hot. The amount of sweat I've produced is enough to wash all of your clothes ten times. Even the horse is drenched. Sister, what will happen to my delicate skin? I feel so dizzy". How will he meet his love if he gets sunburned? "Come on Ron. What's all this talk about delicate skin? You're not a lady" "Are you saying only ladies can have fine skin? Don't be sexist sister"

The Voices Inside My Head

The Voices Inside My Head

I stretched out on my bed, thinking about what she had said, 'We don't belong here. I finally decided to take a look at myself in the mirror. I peeled back the bandages and was shocked. My skin was a bright pink, red colour and was oozing pus and dead skin. I was like a monster, something out of an old horror movie. My perfect skin was ruined! I smiled. Maybe this accident wasn't so bad after all.

The Pack's Secret Keeper

The Pack's Secret Keeper

The hair on his legs did not have the same red tint as the rest of his hair, growing thickly over his shins but thinning above the knee. Football, running, and his work on the farm had his thighs long and leanly muscled. Rhett was right about the pubic hair, she acknowledged to herself. There was something exotic about his c-ck standing amongst the red curls. There was a strip of skin from mid-thigh to his lower belly that was whiter than the rest of his skin, the line of shorts, but his chest, shoulders and arms were bronzed and lightly freckled from going shirtless in the sunshine.

Roza
Like the book but always find it a pity that stories on these apps end with rape & abuse victims forgiving and forgetting (basically: with a simple sorry and a few tears) what abusers did to them. She has lifelong trauma and probably Stockholm Syndrome but no actual justice for this poor girl.

Ok so this book is… SO GOOD! The writing is on point with very little errors. The storyline keeps you glued to the pages. The past to present is different, sometimes I just want a few chapters where it’s not going back and forth. I love the characters growth of Aislen, and now the boys. Must read!

Blue Like The Moonlight

Blue Like The Moonlight

"Uh, yeah. And you?" "Yep. I changed nothing about my appearance. Don't need to," he grinned proudly. Good for him. "You?" "No. Though, I made my skin a bit.." more alive? More healthy? Less dead and grey? ".. a bit more pink toned," Erin timidly finished. That works, too.

Bella...

Bella...

As he rolled his shirt sleeve a large patch of reddened skin was revealed and it was somehow painful just by looking at it. She was tearful. she was frantic and said “sorry I didn’t mean to..” she quickly soaked his arm in the cold water and Rudra did not resist it. He was observing her every act closely. It was his first time caring for by a woman and he felt strange in his heart. He was amused by her concern towards him. Instead of getting upset he embraced her with grin. “Oh.. you’re in trouble now dear” he whispered in her “What should I do now? Is it painful .. wait here I will go and get some ointment for burn!” he said “yeah it’s there in my medical kit which placed under my working d
