That’s when I saw him. Ryan. Thirty years old, 6’2” of pure muscle and quiet authority. He was the head personal trainer who often closed the 24-hour gym. Broad chest, thick arms veined from years of lifting, and a jawline that could cut glass. This man’s name was Rudy and he was a petty thief in the red-light district areas of the Zeldereth Empire.

Ethan snaps back. “Um... guys?” Ryder says hesitantly. “Is the juicer supposed to be smoking? Or did I just unlock a new feature?” “Ryder! What the hell did you put in it?” Grey squeals, rushing toward the counter. “I followed the recipe! Rudy was by far, the biggest wolf I have ever seen probably at nine feet tall with his red eyes that had a beautiful golden yellow glow once in a while. How he did that I don’t know but that gave me enough details to say he wasn’t an ordinary creature, probably a creature of magic I just can’t bring myself to study about. He was my friend so if I wanted to know him, I had to spend time with him a lot. Rudy rested on his stomach, his head resting on his paws as I stared at him with my hand on my hips. “It’s rude to ignore someone just because you want things done your way. I’d like to hear more about married life with that Carlisle PUP.” He cleared his throat and coughed. A fake cough to mask the harshness in his voice, no doubt. What the hell was a pup? Like puppy? Rudy's forehead shone like he'd poured ointment on it. That was sweat, for sure. I noticed that the air around us had indeed grown much warmer.

I was still trying to figure out how did Brandon know so much, yes I knew Cody went into a mission that lasted for longer than expected.
