“What is happening? Stop the car, stop the car now!” At this moment, Lyra, who was sitting in the car in front, noticed that something was wrong. She instantly ordered the driver to stop the car. The three cars stopped, the Jade family’s cavalry that sat with Kirin quickly rushed forward. “What happened?” Lyra frowned, her heart tensed and filled with anxiousness. The Jade family’s cavalry said, “The young master has suddenly injected himself with the Red Spider and gone berserk. He then jumped off the car and went to kill Tyr.”

"Our mate bond hasn't been officially broken yet, so you must fulfill your duty as the Luna." At that, I helplessly dragged my exhausted body up, picked up the sobering potion, and left. When I arrived at the campfire grounds, the sound of Yves and Renee's laughter seemed especially harsh in the night. I recalled the night I first submitted the application to break our bond. He was also drunk like this. His Beta asked, "Yves, are you really willing to break the bond with Luna Tiffany?" Yves answered indifferently, "She's just throwing a tantrum. Her parents died early, and her original pack has already fallen. How could she actually leave me?

Like they had been waiting for him to just stop talking so they can shout. They are happy. I am not. So, what happens to me? What happens to Riley? “And before I forget,” Jude continues, silencing the cheers, “I hereby denounce…” he point towards me, “her from being my mate and Luna. All this… ends now. You seize being anything in my life, and for going against my rules, you seize being a member of this pack.” What?!

“Freya’s parents might have betrayed me in the past but right now they are paying for it as my slave. So, let me have this time using them however I want. And I will enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with it.” But he shook his head. “Alpha, let’s not do this. They’ve already gone against your wishes in the past. This led to them being caught by Alpha Zac before they ran out of there. And they decided to come to you, who they betrayed in the first place.” I laughed in a heavy manner before looking at him. “Look at the flowers.” He looked around the garden.

Humans were screaming and crying, holding their injured family members and friends. I looked down at Rayne’s feet to see her friend, Jae, lying lifeless with blood running from her nose and mouth. Her only error? Being far too close to the epicenter of the damage. To the right of her I could see the once proud and cocky Wolf/Human Hybrid.

Then his presence filled the room, and my pulse picked up just from the sight of him. Yara turned to him, eyes glistening with fresh tears. "Tell me it’s a lie," she begged. "Tell me you didn’t!" Jaxon didn’t look away. With a blank face, he replied. "Raven is my mate, Yara. That's not something I can change." Yara’s breath shuddered. Her entire body started to shake, and for a moment, I thought she might collapse. "And last night," Jaxon continued, "we sealed the bond."

I took her hand. As the silence broke. Just at the entrance to the cave, Sabrina stood in pain as her ribs had been ripped open. She sputtered, her blood staining her shirt. “Your blood, Elara,” she whispered, her voice shaking. “Lyra’s… with Winifred’s… ends the Alpha.” Her voice cracked. “My sacrifice seals it.” The cave trembled as dust fell from the ceiling. Outside, the Alpha roared again—closer, louder, hungrier. I squeezed Lyra’s hand and gazed into Jasmine’s tired eyes.

Suddenly, Aynyra burst into flames, still screaming as Rhae watched helplessly. The vision twisted, starting the same again with an argument. Only this time, a burst of power flew out of Aynyra's body towards Rhae. The burst threw Rhae through the glass doors of the balcony and over the railing, sending her tumbling down towards the ground. Aynyra fell to her knees when she heard Rhae's screams and the cracking of her bones on impact.

“Your report on this ritual came in a bit late, but you still managed to lead them straight to the information we needed.” Niobe’s reply, “My apologies for the risk you had to take, Alpha. Everything went according to plan.” According to plan. They had to be joking, right? My world spun. The torture I went through. The fear that Caspian might die. The pain when that energy blade tore into my scar. That was all part of the plan? Bloody hell. Pyrrha growled inside my head, her fury crashing into my own sense of betrayal. I stepped forward, my claws digging into the rocky ground. A low, dangerous growl rumbled in my chest, vibrating through the ache still burning there. I bared my bloodied fang

Ruby protested. " Don't worry Ruby, we can. We just have to combine our powers together" Jade assured. " You ready?" She asked and Opal nodded firmly. Ruby only nodded reluctantly. " Let's do this" Jade gingered as her eyes started turning dark blue. Opal and Ruby's eyes too started turning dark blue. They focused their eyes and mind on Hudson and Alvara though from a far distance and trying maneuvering through their minds. " I can't seem to get it" Jade announced and her eyes went back to normal.
