***** “Hey.. you!” I stumbled forward as someone shoved me hard between the shoulder blades. I gasped, barely catching myself before I fell. My heart slammed against my ribs as I turned. It was Gwen. Lady Ruby’s right hand. I swallowed hard. Her expression was sharp, unyielding, eyes flicking pointedly ahead of me. “Eyes forward,” she snapped quietly. Dread pooled in my stomach. I turned back slowly. Lady Ruby Thornton stood a few steps away, regal and terrifying in her elegance. Her posture was perfect, her presence suffocating. Power rolled off her in waves after all she is My Alpha’s mate and the Luna of Mystic falls

“I should never have wasted my time with you. I should’ve ended it the moment I had the chance.” Ruby grinned, tilting her head. “Well, unfortunately for you… that chance is gone. Forever.” She turned, walking toward the burning fire. The heat licked at her skin, but she welcomed it. Reaching down, she picked up a burning piece of wood. The flames danced wildly, hungry. She turned back to Don Gray, watching as his body trembled. Despite the bruises, despite the blood, despite his so-called reputation, he was shaking. Sweat dripped from his forehead. His breathing grew ragged. And then....his lips quivered.

Ruby glared at him with those peculiar dark-red eyes. She growled and tried to pull her hands free from Rion's hold, but he held her down firmly. "Look at me," Rion repeated. Ruby snarled at him savagely. She bared her teeth and bit his arm. Rion hissed in pain. He held both of Ruby's wrists in one hand and used the other to yank her hair back, so she released her teeth that were latching onto his arm.

Ruby raised her finger one more time and produced another butterfly. "You really don't want your baby Granger to know anything dirty you do, do you? You love him greatly. It makes me kind of envious and jealous. But I want a last parting gift before I forget that you willingly kissed me." Adrian suddenly grabbed her hand and pinned it over her head before crashing his lips with hers and pushing his tongue in her parted mouth. He twirled it with hers before licking her strawberry sweet crevice. It soon ended when Ruby mustered enough strength to push him away and use the erasure spell on him.

Ruby protested. POP. "OWOOOOOOO…!" BOOM. Seems like Ruby transformed into a Fenrir Wolf and used the glacial beam to blast Restia's Binding Earth Snakes. "Not bad, Ruby," I told her. "And Restia— calm down, will ya?" "……If you say so." ……………………………

"Why are you crying? What's wrong?" Ruby shook her body in order to get away from him. It's like he has turned into a completely different person upon seeing her cry. "Ruby... why are you crying..?" "Y-You're so fucking delusional," she mumbled. "I... Don't even know who you are anymore." "D-Don't cry... I was only showing you something... it's that what friends do for each-" "You just be out of your mind, Ydrian!" Ruby cried out loud. "Are you doing this to rile me up?! Piss me off?! What the hell are you trying to do here?"

“Alright. Do you want me to walk you to your room?” “Daddy.” Her little fingers caught my hand as I stood up. “Please take care of Grace when she gets back, she is really sad.” “I will.” “Okay. Goodnight, Daddy.” “Let me...” Ruby was already rushing towards the staircase. An easy smile settled on my lips and I wished her a good night as well. After another exhale escaped, my mind replayed Ruby’s request and I had to wonder what was going on with Grace. Who was it that she went to visit at the graveyard that she came back with a mood that affected my entire home?

They both lock their watery orbs to each other as Lady Ruby pronounce--- "I, Ruby Byron rejects Ridge Raphbarg as my mate. You are free from any connections you hold to me, and I wish you all the love you de-deserve. I love you." She couldn't believe that she managed to spout those words out from her lips, even though she was shaking, she was brave enough to stand for herself. "I, Ridge Raphbarg accept Lady Ruby Byron's rejection. I hope for your happiness. Thank you for showing me love and support in a short period of time. I did not regret that you are my mate, instead, I am grateful. I-I love you." After that, a strong sense of relief runs in their veins. They can feel their wolves howls

She was about to reach up and comfort him when something occurred to her. "Why did you go see Mrs. Hartwell? I already gave you the money for the watch and told you to leave Miles alone." Bryce froze. His fingers twisted together guiltily. "I went to apologize to Miles. I know showing up at his job like that was wrong. But he just started swinging the second he saw me." His voice trailed off into another round of sniffling. Camille felt a pang of sympathy, but she pressed on. "Then why did Mrs. Hartwell collapse? What did you say to her?"

” Karen got out of André's grip and shook her head in disbelief. On the other side, Ruby's eyes were red from crying, as if she had been abandoned. She bit her lower lip and said: "Sough.” Then she buried her face in her hands and ran out of the room. My lips rolled up with disdain at her fleeing figure and I said: "You always like to pretend to be the victim! You disgust me!" "Ruby!" Paul shouted at her and gave me a black look with animosity. "Hybrid slut, I won't forget what happened today. Write down my words. André, the Dark Swamp Pack and the Red Snow Pack are now on bad terms. I'll make you pay for that." After giving this warning, he swept the room with his men.
