She carefully opened the hundred-year-old grimoire that has been passed down to the Delvaux for years, his father never gave her the grimoire so she took it upon herself and stole it before running away from her father's grasp. The words written in the grimoire is ancient and only Nerissa can understand it given that the blood running through her veins is the blood of a Delvaux. She turned the pages with proper care, she stopped with the word cuddio that means conceal in the English language. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes and focusing her mana flowing through her arms.

I immediately pulled out the knife behind my leg and throw it at the werewolf attacking in front. I quickly glanced at the one who hasn’t transformed yet but he doesn’t even budge, he is just watching. I grabbed this chance to throw one of my knives but his reflex in a human form is greater than I thought. He caught the knife and stared at the engraved symbol. “The famous clan of Ambrose,” he muttered but I didn’t pay any attention because we are now being outnumbered by these monsters. Rendall and I stopped attacking for a second and weigh the situation we are in. I was about to cover Rendall when I felt a hard thing bump into the back of my head. I touched it as I am slowly losing my balan

I followed after Grim as he headed towards Arram who eyed him strangely. "Shouldn't you be doing your queen," he asked, then gasped embarrassingly at seeing me. "I need some gloves so I can handle the ancient grimoire," Grim asked. Arram snapped his fingers and a pair of cotton gloves fell into his lap. He handed them to Grim. Grim gestured for me to follow him. He put on the gloves and grabbed the book and led me to a private sitting room. Grim turned on a side lamp, sat on a couch and patted the space next to him. I sat next to him and watched as he carefully turned the yellowish pages. Grim was reading the information and I grinned slightly seeing the tip of his pink tongue sticking out o

“So, she is part demon? One of Dante’s sprogs that slipped through the net?” “No,” Lucas leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees as a weary sigh escaped him. “Atlas and Amos don’t have wolf spirits remember? Chloe does; Hecate.” “Hecate? What kind of name is that?” “It’s the name of a Greek goddess. As far as we can tell, only the Wolfe line has a wolven spirit with a Greek name. Even Sierra and Alvaro don’t have them. So, how come she has one?” Lucas raised an eyebrow, hazel eyes darkening as the questions piled up. “I think we need to make a call.”

My foot I say to all those foolish uncultured creatures. But back to the plan... I know exactly what I'm going to do, little miss perfect aren't going to be so perfect after I'm done with her. She will be equivalent to Lilly's disfigured paintings. With a dark grin spreading on her lips, one similar to the grin the devil himself would be spotted in. The chills that run down one's spine after witnessing it would certainly crawl down your spine like a lone drop of water running down one's exposed back. •●•

“Hell no. I can't get used to a new Pack. The Vulcan Pack remains the only pack I can boast of. It's the only pack I am comfortable in, which is why I really want to do everything within my powers to make sure that the Alpha comes back to the pack.” “I'm glad you agree to this. Though, I'm still distressed. I mean, we have no idea about the Vampires and where their base truly is. How am I supposed to find out where they took him?” “For this, I think we would need the powers from an old grimoire. Though I don't have that.” “What? What is a grimoire in the first place?” “A grimoire is a book of witches. I used to have one, but over the years, I lost mine. And ever since then, I haven't had the

Reyna- Standing outside a large gate, which was too tall to see over, surrounded by shrubs, I wondered if there were any game updates involving the bosses on each floor. As far as I knew, the first one was a Giant Goblin. The entrance to the boss on this level was still the same, which is why we didn’t have any issues finding it.

Once she got a hold of it, she grabbed her bag and pulled out the grimoire. “Second time’s the charm. Deleatur!” She yelled, bringing the dagger down and into the grimoire. The dagger went through like butter, and Mirja couldn’t have been happier. When she removed the dagger, the book was still held. Nothing happened. No puncture wounds at all. Something was wrong. Mirja opened the grimoire, and the pages still looked brand new. She found the page with Alaia, and it came to her. This grimoire was only a shell, which meant Alaia…

Freya asked. “The third one is with me.” He tells her and then he goes to his bookshelf, he presses a button and the shelf slides away to reveal a safe. He puts in his code and the safe hisses open and he brings out his own grimore. He puts it on the table with the other two. “There you go, all three grimoires accounted for.” Vincent tells Freya. “Not necessarily.” Freya says as she drags the oldest looking of the three towards herself, I think it was the younger lady that had that one.
