The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I asked to distract myself from his body against mine. He made a sound of disgust in the back of his throat. “Do you think it so easy to use magic? You need the right components. I have a dagger, why would I carry components for such a spell?” “For the event that you drop your dagger through the weave of a net?” I suggested, trying to keep my voice bland. In tale, it was always unwise to provoke magic users. “Hmmm.”

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Beneath The Steel And Silk

Beneath The Steel And Silk

“Big day, huh?” Sage turned to see her friend and coworker, Maggie, leaning against the café’s doorframe, a cigarette dangling from her lips. Maggie had the hardened smile of someone who’d seen too much of life to be surprised by it anymore. Her greying hair was tied back with a bandana, and her apron bore coffee stains that refused to wash out. “Big day for vultures,” Sage muttered. “Say the word and I’ll toss sugar syrup on their fancy loafers,” Maggie offered, exhaling a cloud of smoke.

The Stolen Relic

The Stolen Relic

Traveling merchants were few and far between because the large swatches of land made travel perilous from one town to another. Yet, the village had all they needed and was well cared for because this purple sage knew what would be needed. “It was about 18 years ago, girl when these same circumstances came across my pearl.” Clarissa leaned in, interested. Magic was made even more potent when a sage had a talisman from their own element. Sometimes sages used crystal balls for divination. But this sage was closer to the element in the giant pearl that adorned the center of her home. The purple sage grabbed her beer from the server. Clarissa shook her head; she didn’t want anything.

Too slow. And still, he couldn’t let go. Across the nave, the guild gathered in low voices around the ruins of the old choir stalls. Arguments rose and fell like a tide. “We can’t take him back there,” one voice spat. “You saw what happened in the night. The shadows moved through him. He’s already lost.” “He’s not lost,” Maera hissed, clutching her scrolls to her chest like a shield. “The rite is real. I’ve read the records myself. He can be severed.”

His Luna’s Rejection, Her Alpha’s Mistake

His Luna’s Rejection, Her Alpha’s Mistake

"But I am willing to help an old friend.” Sage moved to her herb racks and compounded a unique mixture into a sachet. "This is filled with herbs. Sprinkle a little amount on his pillow," she explained. "When he wakes the next morning, he will show his love and dedication only for you. But be warned, it won't last forever." Anna hesitated for a moment, contemplating the consequences of using such magic. After a deep breath, she took the sachet from Sage, feeling a mix of hope and uncertainty.

Naraja was just about to open his mouth to take control of the conversation again, but was unable too because the mysterious black figure swung its index finger in a slow carefree charismatic motion back n' forth and opened its mouth and said: ???: "Tsk tsk, patience is a virtue Na~r~aja. Buuuut, anywho to answer your greedy-ass buttload of questions. Hmmmm.. I cannot tell you about who I am, what I am, yourself, or these people and that dog that lay here today, and also this place of where you are is something that I cannot tell you as well. Sorry~."

Dream State

Pleaded Catlin. Sage wasn’t too sure what she should do, but she step aside anyway. “I have the spell that will bring all of our power to the both of us.” Said Catlin. In her hand, she held a piece of paper that had black letters written across it. Sage snatched the paper out of her hand as Catlin walked over toward Sage’s brown leather couch and lounged on it with her hands behind her head just waiting for Sage to finish reading the spell. “Oh, the power I feel is absolutely delicious Megan. You should try it!” Purred Sage as she looked at her arms and hands. A feeling of having fallen into herself slammed through her as the astral plain washed over her and time steadied.

The Luna's Revenge: Volume 1

I replied the commander. "What about Red?" Charlie asked. I reached down to Elena and placed my hands on her chest. I conected to my inner witch and began casting a Sage Spell. Sage spells have the ability to draw out energy from nature and deposit into a vessel. In this case, I'm making Elena the vessel for the nature energy. It's an advanced and highly dangerous spell but right now, that's the only thing that can awaken Elena. The only catch is that if I don't focus the energy of the right amount in her consciousness, Elena's soul could get sucked into 'The Mirror Dimension.'

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

“We do need to be careful with one thing. Mags knows I’m immortal, and while she doesn't know exactly how the master familiar bond works, she knows I would find a way to make you immortal like me. So they will be prepared to kill immortal beings, which is very dangerous for us.” “I agree, but we will have back up that they won’t see coming that much I did see. I also saw you being done with Mags first and joining me. Mags will be alone, but Sage will not be. She will have Liam and Ghost to help her. Sage is under the impression it’s going to be three against one. Even with Blair making it two against three, Ghost is a Dark Fae. He is a master illusionist and can manipulate matter. I can take

The Princess And The Bear

The Princess And The Bear

Kayda had taken a sip of wine and had winced at the taste "I think so far, tequila is better." she said as I smirked and handed her a shot. "Woman after my own heart." I smirked. Satisfied we were on our way to loosening up. I stashed my tequila bottle back in the closet, and we all looked at Sage. She mumbled a spell concealing our scents, and we all peered out into the apartment my parents were out as I had always known they would be. The only person here was the Palace gaurds at the door and Eoin. Sage took care of the Palace gaurds with a spell that cast a glamour over us, making us effectively invisible. The adults had not yet realised the extent of Sage's magic. The old witch, Madame L
