Sam shouted from inside the car as the car came closer to me with a pair of sunglasses over her eyes. I must admit, I wasn't anticipating that. I am too shocked to even say anything in reply. I said cutting her off. I walked up to her car and looked her straight in the eyes. "Is this yours?" "If it wasn't would I be in it?" Sam replied before rolling her eyes.

Sam Smith shakes his head as he anxiously looks at his back, making sure that no one is following him, especially the Alpha. He was first coming here with his old avanza car, which was not branded or even eyecatching by hoping that the Alpha didn’t throw a glance at it despite his warning. All Dean could think to do was run a soothing hand down his side as they drove back to the base.

It seemed to her that an eternity had passed when a car pulled into the gas station. At first Sammy jumped in fright, but it wasn't a Honda, it was a silver Ford. As soon as the car braked nearby, Doyle literally jumped out of the passenger seat. Samantha unlocked the door with trembling hands and climbed out, and Travis flew up and grabbed her and held her tightly to him. Once in his arms, Sammy burst into tears again, and he stroked her back.

Samantha’s POV “Will you follow us or do you want to pool a ride with us ?” Kyler asked. “You can sit with Samantha on her ride while I can sit with Xeon in his car,” Dre yapped happily like a freaking stupid kid as we stood in front of Xeon’s Bugatti Veyron. “Uh sure !” Kyler easily agreed. “Lead the way, mate,” he said before turning to me. “Where is your car ?” he asked puzzled as he noticed the entire parking area was empty save for Xeon’s ultra luxurious ride.

The car was painted dark red, which looked extraordinary. Red was supposed to be a passionate colour, but it looked eerie in the dark street. Samantha couldn't help but frown. She had a bad feeling about that car. The car parked outside restaurant. The door opened, and a familiar figure walked out of the car. Samantha took a deep breath. For some reason, she wasn't surprised at all. "Is he here?" Alexis noticed that something was wrong from her expression. She followed Samantha's gaze and saw a man with a tall build. The light blue suit he was wearing made him look elegant and refined. He walked up to her and smiled gently.

"Sure," Sam replied and headed toward one of the cars at the starting line, putting on his helmet before getting in. While Quinn stared worriedly at him, Bob said behind her, "Don't worry—Sam's good. The car he's driving has also been modified many times for safety, and his friends brought it all the way here from North City. He's going to be fine." Quinn nodded in silence despite her panic and steered clear of the road. The cars moved to the starting line and sprang forward at the wave of a flag.

I glance up the street and see the G-Wagon, then climb behind the steering wheel. I don’t wait long before Samantha opens the passenger door and gets into the car. Starting the engine, I guide the vehicle into traffic, and as we drive to Dante’s tattoo place, I ask, “Are you feeling better?” Samatha shrugs and glances out the window. “It comes and goes.” She turns her gaze to me. “I don’t think it’s fully sunk in yet.” Yeah, I don’t think so, either. She’s way too fucking calm. Either that or this woman is the strongest person I know.
