As he stepped out of the compact room to fetch drinks, I surveyed my environment, keenly observing every detail. Firstly, the architectural style and the preference for wooden walls and paper lamps hinted that we were still in the East. Secondly, the air carried a distinctive scent that confirmed my suspicion. In the room, stacks of papers were neatly arranged, and a collection of metal swords caught my eye, unmistakably katanas wielded by Samurai warriors. Intrigued, I leaned in and carefully lifted one of the swords from its place.
