His Dad Calls Me Baby

His Dad Calls Me Baby

With that, she zoomed back to her desk. Clara immediately pulled out her phone and opened the chat with the solid black avatar. [Big bro! Code red!] [Lisa just ambushed me. She's totally fishing to see if you're going on the retreat!] [So? Is the stage set? She's 100% on the prowl for a 'coincidental' meet-cute! Don't blow this—I'm counting on you! (Hint hint.jpg)] --- Meanwhile, in the CEO's office. Alexander's private phone lit up on his desk. His eyes flicked over Clara's message.

Shifted Fate: The Alpha Begs Me Back

Shifted Fate: The Alpha Begs Me Back

“Ventura, California.” The flames held steady. “How old are you?” “Twenty-nine.” Again, no change. Andrea’s eyes narrowed, her tone sharpening like a blade being honed. “Did you break into my office two nights before the evidence was discovered?” Clara flinched. “Yes.” The fire did not react. “Why?” “I…” Clara hesitated. “I was scared. I didn’t feel safe.” Andrea’s voice was flint. “So you trespassed.”

Max's Revelation

Max's Revelation

This was not the way he wanted to spend his Friday. They flew the first flight from San Jose that morning to administer this installation. He did not want to be here. A hot date waited for him later that evening, and he was going to play hookey all day. But Clara needed him and Jeremy to go with her to San Diego because somebody double booked their technicians. And since he and his siblings are trained enough to do the camera and systems installations, they were always on call for backup whenever needed.

This is intriguing, witty and I still enjoy the relationship among the siblings. there isn't a boring moment when they are together. Perhaps Max is the key to this chemistry or perhaps Clara, who knows? But I really enjoy the introduction of Celine. I can't wait for more chapters!

Thank you author for Max’s story. Was just as well written as Clara’s Mystery and I cannot wait to read Jeremy’s. Keep writing because I am a fan and hooked on your ability to tell the story that grabs your readers and has them thinking of the characters long after the last chapter!

Stalked by A Billionaire

Stalked by A Billionaire

Later that night, Bella and Clara slept pretty late because they spent all night reading comments and talking about the recent changes in the industry, "I am sure your friends will be very happy to have you back" Clara said s Bella nodded. "Crystal called me, She said she wanted to book a flight but then she has a lot to do too. She is currently filming in a remote location so it is not possible for her to come, that means I will see them all in 2 weeks time." She said as Clara nodded.

The Code of The Alpha

Clara hesitated for a moment before she looked directly into the webcam. "You're Carrie, I presume," she said to me. I nodded. "And your father is..." Clara trailed off as I nodded again, slowly. "When was the last time you saw him?" She asked me. "A month ago," I answered. "Bates mentioned that you noticed his eyes were blue in the dream you had. Do you remember them being blue when you saw him one month ago?" I shook my head. "No, the dream was the first time." She nodded thoughtfully.

ABANDONED BY MY EX, ACCEPTED HIS BOSS'S PROPOSAL

ABANDONED BY MY EX, ACCEPTED HIS BOSS'S PROPOSAL

Cold. “Yes?” “You need to get out of that apartment. Now.” “What? Who is this—” “Someone who doesn’t want to see you dead.” Click. The line went dead. Clara stared at her phone, heart pounding. She didn’t know it, but Maya Stark had already made her move. Clara stood frozen by the window, the weight of the anonymous call anchoring her to the floor. Her eyes darted across the skyline, then to the street below. Nothing looked unusual—but wasn’t that always how it started in movies? Quiet. Still. Then fire.

Claiming His Plus Size Contract Wife

Claiming His Plus Size Contract Wife

"Hello?" A deep, older voice came through the speaker. It sounded tired, calm, and heavy with age. "Grandpa!" Clara cried out right away, her voice cracking as real tears spilled over her cheeks. "Oh, Grandpa, it’s me! It’s Clara!" Far away in a quiet, beautiful villa in the green mountains of Switzerland, old Richard Vance sat in his leather armchair by the fireplace. He looked down at his phone, frowning a little bit at the loud, crying voice of his granddaughter.

The Wife He Thought Was Dead

The Wife He Thought Was Dead

"You think your cheap bluff can save you, Clara? This house is cut off from the outside world. The storm out there will wash away every sound of gunfire and all traces of your blood." "Who said I’m bluffing?" Clarissa lifted her thumb, revealing a micro-sized remote hidden inside the fold of her leather glove. "The moment you pull that trigger, the frequency signal on this remote will cut off and automatically upload the entire contents of the micro-chip inside this locket to every major news network and police headquarters across the country. Your empire will crumble within five seconds of my death." The smile on Edward’s face instantly faded. His thumb, already poised to press the trigger,

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

Silas replied, his hand resting on the hidden holster beneath his suit jacket. The drive from the mountains into the heart of Santa Clara was an exercise in eerie observation. As they descended into the valley, the natural world seemed to dim. the vibrant greens of the eucalyptus trees looked grey and washed out. The people on the sidewalks moved with a strange, synchronized lethargy - looking at their phones, their faces blank, their eyes glazed. "It’s starting," Emma whispered over the comms from the van. "The broadcast is at forty percent capacity. It’s a 'Drowsiness' wave. It’s telling them that nothing matters except the screen in their hands."
