Zack was leaning on the window, excitedly looking outside. Through the car window, he saw many animals coming and going beside the car from time to time. There were musk deer, giraffes, and even zebras, and camels arrogantly stuck their huge heads into the car windows, twitching their thick lips, begging for carrots and apples. This was his first time visiting Safari Park. He knew a lot of animals, but either he saw them through encyclopedias or he got to know them through educational TV programs. This was the first time he had seen live animals!

“We're here to help you!” She turns, her eyes widening in confusion. “Who are you? Never mind that for now. I need you to help Azrael hold off the wolves while I finish this.” I nod, my heart racing with adrenaline. “We've got this. Stay safe, Savage.” Together, we fight alongside Azrael, our pack's strength and power combined with Savage's newfound abilities proving to be a formidable force. The Shadow wolves howl and snarl, but we fight with everything we have, our eyes fixed on the prize—the safety of our pack and the world beyond.

Zachary have just seen who can conquer him. "But not at this thing, it's so dangerous. You know what happened when you tried to go on a mission that day right? You almost lost your power. Do you really want me dead?" Zachary asked her but she keeps on making some funny faces in front of him. "I didn't lost it! It's still here okay? And I am fine! Honey, please? Let me help these kids. Just this once, huh? After this I will focus on my baby egg." Siva tried to persuade him. I don't really know why they are doing this in front of us but I am sure what will be the outcome of their conversation. Of course, Zachary will let her do what she wants.

Claire blackmails Zoe into leaving so Claire can't plant the seed of doubt in Xavier's mind about John and Zoe. Claire sabotages Zoe and Zoe ends up getting lost in the forest. Xavier saves her from a bunch of rogues and the weekend trip is cut short because of the dangers of a rogue attack.

Author's Pov Earlier that day. Daniel Quinn sat at the head of the long dining table, scrolling through his phone with irritation. He was dialing a number repeatedly, but it seemed the person had blocked him. "Don't stress too much. She’ll crawl back once she’s hungry enough," Vanessa said, sipping her coffee without looking up from her phone. This wasn’t the first time Elara had disappeared, and as far as she was concerned, it wouldn’t be the last. A part of her was even happy that the pest had finally left.

Zander: Are you awake? Me: Yes. Zander: I'm sorry for what I said at the party. Me: It's okay. Why are you awake? Zander: I was hungry. Me: We were having raccoon issues. Zander: That's funny. Me: We finally caught Rocket. Zander: Who's Rocket? Me: The large male. Zander: Did you catch Groot, too? Me: Not yet. Zander: Do you want to hang with me tomorrow?

Suddenly my laptop screen flashed and someone's voice laughed loudly "Ha-ha-ha. Murderer! You are a murderer! Azalea the murderer! You will never live in peace! I'm sure of that!" I stared in shock at the laptop screen which had pictures of skulls and knives and flowing blood and — "Aa! David!"

Hearing Zoey’s story, Baby Z looked at Tristan and asked him. “Daddy swans are werewolves too?” And that’s it. All this time Tristan watched Zoey, wondering how the hell she resists in front of him, how she ignores the mate bond, when he is little and has a heart stroke. “Werewolves?” Zoey asked and started to laugh, making Tristan’s heart skip a beat. “You have a vivid imagination, baby girl” and caressed the top of her head but offering her hand to Baby she, Zoey says.

The bartender glanced over to her and nodded, grabbed the remote. The reporter grew louder by the second. “They still haven’t found the animal that killed Genr Lopez here a little past 3:30 a.m. last Saturday Night. As we’ve told you, police say the body was torn to shreds, but now we hear that the zoo is denying any animals have escaped, assuring us they are on full lockdown. What was it that killed Gener Lopez that night, and are we safe?” Laurent’s voice came through the fog. “So scary.”
