Say You Swear Book Novels & Stories

“Fine! But only because you all are making me!” The group leaned in, eager to hear her say it. “Damn!” she exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper, but the effect was immediate. The group erupted into cheers and laughter, and Isla felt a rush of exhilaration. “See? That wasn’t so hard!” Liam said, his striking eyes twinkling with amusement. Miranda crossed her arms, a mock pout on her face. “You all are terrible influences!” Just as Miranda finished saying her swear word, a handsome, muscular man strode into the circle, his presence commanding attention. With a playful grin, he exclaimed, “Did I just hear my mate say a swear word?!”

He signaled to the bailiff, who walked towards me with an open book, which I suspected to be the oath book. “Repeat after me,” he murmured, and I nodded, swallowing hard. “I,” he started, with his right palm raised upturned towards the sky, and I followed after him. “I…Iris Paulman, do solemnly, sincerely, truly declare and affirm that the testimony I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth…”

She opens her mouth to scream again, but Mallory violently grabs her arm, her nails sinking deep into her mother's skin to shut her up before she ruins everything permanently. Mallory turns back to me, her eyes bloodshot, her face pale as a corpse. "Harper... if swearing an oath will prove my innocence to you, then I will do it." I curve my lips into a slow, terrifying smile, my wolf stirring with dark, predatory satisfaction inside my chest. "Go on then, Mallory. Swear it before every Alpha in this room." Mallory swallows hard, her throat bobbing as she raises her trembling hand. "I swear... if I ever covet the Calloway Pack land left behind by your mother, let me be punished—"

Kriss replied, rolling his eyes, not denying he stole it. The brothers smirked and Zadicus said, “Tristan, tell him.” Zadicus said. At this point, it gained everyone’s attention because when Tristan shares words of wisdom, they hold immense power in them. “Here you go.” Tristan smirked, giving Kriss' book back, resting his hand on the back of his head, closing his eyes. Ready to flex his flairs. “Page 157, paragraph one, ‘Those who desired malevolence left my path for fathoming devastation for I, who guided you on righteous must halt before my wrath.’”

I whisper. This time, the tears don’t feel like weakness. They feel like healing. Like something finally beginning. ************************ Unspoken Desires - Book 3…. Coming Soon

“Luke, I told you not to lie to me again. I’m giving you this chance but… I’m sorry… I don’t think I can ever trust you again.” ***

he whispered as his grip on me tightened. “Do i-it. Release your juices inside of me. Make me pregnant,” I muttered breathily. I don’t know what I’m saying anymore. All I want is for him to fill me with his cum. He looked shocked by what I said but pleasured as well. “Damn! You really are a slut, huh? You want your friend's father to make you pregnant? I don’t even know that my daughter’s best friend is a slut!" “Y-Yes, Steve. I’m a slut, so fuck me."

Her hair fell in a crimson curtain around her face as she bowed her head, her lips shaping words that burned hotter than any prayer she’d ever spoken. “I swear,” she whispered. “On blood, on fire, on everything I am—I will survive for you. I’ll lie, I’ll bleed, I’ll burn, but I will keep you safe.” The bulb above her flickered, shadows stretching long across the chamber. She pressed her forehead to the stone, whispering again, stronger this time. “I swear.” A blood oath, sealed in silence. And though her voice trembled, her eyes were fierce when she finally lifted her head.

Using a bit of her new willpower, he resisted long enough to say. "I could only forget it if you swear never to do something like that again." He held his steady posture, and looking at her with determination, he answered. "I must not swear anything. You know I will." But she was trying to bear the influence that invited her to surrender, she said. "Please, if you swear, we can move on." Hearing those words, Chuck got up slowly, and, taking a red rope from one of the cabinets, he said. "If I swear, will this nonsense end, and will you be mine again?"

“ Mr Wade, do you promise to speak the truth and nothing but the truth during this trial for the sole purpose of the pursuit of justice?” “ I do”, Mr Wade replied. “ Do you promise to give a full account of any questions asked of you during this trial?” “ I do”, he nodded. “ Do you vow to keep to the oath of the sacred court, to be transparent in all that you will say?” “ I do”. “ Then, may your bidding be in accordance with your God, Amen”, she said and went back and dropped the book on her desk. Who the hell still makes people swear by the Bible or Quran at this age at time before testifying?
