For the second time that day, the atmosphere rippled with energy. Khaos started screaming in pain. Agron rushed forward to help his accomplice but with a flick of Hemera’s hand we was thrown backwards then pinned down by an invisible force. Amelia watched as Khaos continued screaming. It went on and on with her thrashing against her restraints. After a couple of minutes there was silence before a burst of light broke out and when it cleared Khaos wasn’t where she had been.

“And what if I don’t want to?” The one with a scar on his cheek chuckled as he shoved his hand in his pockets. He had a bunch of bruises on his face and a cut on his lower lip which was healing slowly. But what caught my attention most was the fact that he had Aurelia’s scent on him. It meant that they’d run into each other, and that was the same reason she was crossing over rapidly. “Something tells me you two know a lot more than you’re acting,” I said from behind Ethan. Both of them looked at me in confusion.
